Maddie's POV

I don't know why I responded or why I even came but my mom convinced me to come anyway. I mean I guess I do wanna know why she left without saying anything. I mean did I do something wrong? When I got to her door I was really angry I almost turned around and left but something told me to stay. When she opened the door I wanted to scream at her I wanted to cry I wanted to run away but again something told me to stay.

"Hi" I finally heard her say

"Hey." I said to her we just made eye contact

"Please come in."

"Thanks."

"I made dinner, steak and mashed potatoes."

"Cut the bullshit JJ." I finally snapped

"What?" She asks 

"Why the fuck did you leave me? You left me when I needed you the most. You literally fucked me and left." I said starting to tear up

"Please let me explain." She told me

"I've given you plenty of time for that you PROMISED you wouldn't leave me and then you did. Was it always going to end this way you get what you want and leave?" I was so pissed off at her

"I never meant to hurt you Maddie."

"Well its a little late for that."

"Maddie please let me explain. I left because I got scared okay. You were safe until we got involved. He didn't find you until after we kissed. Until after I fell for you. And then you got pregnant and it felt like it was my fault I wasn't there to protect you. You told me you felt like someone was watching you and I didn't come to you. You said it wasn't my fault and I know you don't blame me but I blame myself. I couldn't even find you for how long. If I had found you sooner none of this would have happened. You got hurt because of me." She was crying now

"JJ I told you there was nothing you could have done. He would have found me no matter what. We don't even know if he found me before or after we kissed. For all we know he could've found me way before I even met you. I told you I needed you and you left me. You promised you would be there and then you weren't. You wouldn't even talk to me. Why didn't you just talk to me. Weve been though too much together for you to run away now."

"I know and I'm sorry I never wanted to hurt you. I never planned on leaving you I just woke up that morning and everything hit me at once and I ran. And trust me I know you have no reason to forgive me or give me a second chance but Maddie I've never been as happy as I am with you. I think that scared me too. I care about you so much I hate seeing you in so much pain I wish I could take it all away."

"You're right JJ I have no reason to forgive you. But for some reason I cant help but forgive you. JJ I love you I have loved you from the moment I saw you and that's never going to change. I need you our baby needs you. 

"Wait so you still want me apart of the baby's life."

"Of course I do. You're mine forever. But if you EVER do something like this again I swear Jennifer I will kill you."

"Yes ma'am I promise I'm never leaving again."

"Good because I'd hate to have to kill my baby's mom." I said hugging her

"I love you Maddie."

"I love you too."

"Shall we have dinner now."

"Well, you did make my favorite so yes."

JJ's POV

I was so incredibly happy I got my family back I still feel so bad for leaving but that's all in the past now. Now I have my girl and our baby to take care of. That night we decided to lay on the couch and watch some movies. I was sitting down and Maddie had her head on my lap as I played with her hair. I kept just looking down at her I never wanted to leave her again.

"Baby." I heard coming back to reality

"Yes my love?"

"You're staring at me again." 

"Sorry love I'm just happy that's all." Maddie looked down and smiled at her belly

"Can you believe were gonna find out if were having a boy or girl in a few weeks."

"I know I'm excited."

"Do you think its a boy or girl?" She asked me

"I hope its a girl I wanna have a mini you." 

"Aww me too. I want to have a mini you one day."

"We will baby."

"Yeah?" She said getting excited

"Yes love we can have a mini me too." 

"Good because our baby is gonna be bored if she or he is an only child."

"I love you Madison."

"I love you too Jennifer."
