What i wouldn't give
To be rich
To not need to care
To not need to worry
To believe that oil and gas is more important than our air
What I wouldn't give
What i wouldn't give
To think economy over equality
To believe the people on the top deserve to be there
To think the grass under my feet can be replaced with concrete, iron bars, and dog pee
What i wouldn't give
What I wouldn't give
To not be scared for my future
To not be force fed, this nonsense, that if i worked hard at my minimum wage job i could be just like them
What I wouldn't give
What i wouldn't give
To be able to forget the people that are dying
To be able to forgive the people killing them
To be able to disregard the starving people right outside of walmart
What i wouldn't give
I wouldn't give
My morals
My planet
My friends
I wouldn't give
Anyones livelihood
Their happiness
Their kids
I wouldnt give my humanity
So i guess that life just wasn't made for me
What i wouldn't give to make everyone see the economy won't matter, when no one's there to gather the trash that is spewed onto the streets
What i wouldn't give for a healthy planet
Somewhere where im proud to be
Because we are just cogs in a money making machine
Will anything we ever do be useful to you or me?
And what i wouldn't give for that to be wholly untrue
But still i wonder
What can I do
