7. Healing the broken soul: Start!

The next day, X finds himself in the hospital room, instead of the room he was assigned to.

[What... happened...? The last thing I remember was...]

X remembered what happened, and then he realized that he had a nightmare so he was carried to the hospital room, and his vision became dark. After that, he woke up.

"Oh, X san. You're awake." - A chan

[Friend-A? Why are you here?]

"Well, YAGOO wants to talk with you about your role in Hololive." - A  chan

[Okay.]

A chan and X entered YAGOO's office. In his office, There were not only YAGOO, but also Choco and Koyori.

"X san, take a seat." - YAGOO

[Thanks Mr. Tanigo.]

As X and A chan took their seat, YAGOO came out with the topic.

"Now, the reason I called you was what happened at last night. I got a report from Choco san, who is also in charge of our medical care that you had a trauma from the missions you were assigned back at your dimension." - YAGOO

[That was a trauma?! I thought reploids don't have tra... wait a second...]

X thought reploids don't have a trauma, but he remembered about why Overdrive Ostrich retired from the maverick hunter.

[Yeah... you're right. Reploids do have a trauma too.]

"Because of this, we decided to change your role in Hololive. A chan? Could you explain from this part?" - YAGOO

"Understood. Since you have a trauma about war, we decided that you won't be dispatched into mission unless it's related with a very powerful machines. Until then, you will be focused on a mental healing program which was scheduled by some of the Hololive members." - A chan

[Wait what?!]

"Well, although you're powerful, if we leave the missions to all of you, the other Hololive members can't develop their skills. Besides, what if you were hit by an attack which affects your mental? Are you sure you could handle it if you're in a condition like this?" - A chan

A chan's right. In this condition, X can't show his power to 100%. Even if he use the Ultimate armor, he can't fight against awakened Zero in current situation.

[I... guess you're right...]

"Choco san and Koyori san here will tell you about your healing program." - A chan

"Right. We will tell you about this. We will talk about this at the cafeteria in 1st floor." - Choco

[Understood.]

As Choco, Koyori, and X left YAGOO's office and went to cafeteria.

[Before you 2 could tell me about the program, could you introduce yourself?]

"Me? Oh you will meet me for the first time? Well then, Let me introduce myself! I'm Hakui Koyori! The brain of the secret society HoloX!" - Koyori

[Wait secret society?! Isn't that illegal?!]

"Don't worry X san. They aren't that the bad guys." - Choco

"Actually... we joined Hololive because we're having a financial problem... Hehe..." - Koyori

[...]

{What kind of secret society is HoloX?}

"Anyways, we will tell you about the program." - Choco

As X heard about Choco and Koyori explaining about his healing program, he agreed about that.

[So... I will be working as a sort of a manager for the Hololive members, except Roboco San since she's a robot.]

"That's right." - Koyori

[Also, I will be on a mission only if that's a fight against a hard machine enemy.]

"Yup." - Choco

[Fine. So, when do I start?]

"You can start from now on." - Koyori

"And one last thing, you could also help us about training and other stuffs." - Choco

[Okay...]

"Excellent. Now Choco sensei will start her ASMR streaming, why don't you listen to this?" - Koyori

[Alright, mind if I help setting?]

"I could handle this myself, you don't need to." - Choco

And so begins, X's healing program.
