Hope's Peak Academy.
A prestigious, government-sanctioned high school where students with exceptional abilities are selectively hand-picked by the staff of this school.
L/N Y/N looked back and forth, double confirming if this is the right place. She used the tip of her finger to draw out an invisible one that matches the school's logo. When done, she first inhaled some fresh air to calm herself down on the first day of school, then exhaled out slowly. Placing a hand on her heart, she once again reassured herself that everything will be alright. A satisfied smile crept across her face, one that is beaming with excitement.
"Well, looks like I'm here."
L/N took one step forward, two steps forward, and then a few steps forward, each time increasing her pace.
To be even able to set foot in Hope's Peak is a miracle to her. L/N carefully examined every nook and cranny. As expected of a prestigious high school, the furniture are all of top-notch quality. Imagine accidentally knocking over a vase- that could really bankrupt someone's wallet, huh?
Eventually, L/N found her way to her assigned classroom. She totally did not mess up class 76 for class 77-B. Upon entering the classroom, she realized that no one has arrived except for a guy sitting at the second table of the second column. Did they arrive too early, or are the rest just late?
L/N scruntinized the male. The most striking feature about him that would stop people on their tracks momentarily is probably his creamy white hair that fades from white to pinkish-white. It looks kind of like a marshmallow. His hair color really complements well with his fairly white and pale skin, which did not look like it belonged to a living human's. The white male's face was obstructed as he was facing the other direction, so L/N did not get a good look of how he looked like. Other than that, he pretty much wore the standard Hope's Peak uniform- a brown blazer and matching pants with a red tie.
The marshmallow man seemed to be lost in thought, staring blankly at the view outside of the window, it took quite awhile for him to notice you standing at the door.
"Oh... I did not see you there." He sheepishly laughed and scratched his head. He seemed to have a bit of awkward demeanour. You chuckled, as a sign of 'it's okay' to him. "Sorry for not saying anything, I did not want to interrupt your chain of thought."
You walked towards the man's table, offering a friendly handshake. Now that you are face-to-face in front of him, you got a good close-up look of his facial features. A pair of gray-green iris colored eyes. He looked quite effeminate, especially with the friendly smile plastered on his face. It actually seemed rather comforting.
"I'm L/N Y/N, the Ultimate Criminologist... Kind of. I don't exactly think I deserve this title." You shrugged, but the man's gray-green colored eyes beamed with elation upon hearing that. Unanle to contain his delight, he suddenly sprang at you, holding both of your hands. He held your talent in high regard, in contrast to you who did not have much of an opinion.
"A criminologist? That's amazing, L/N-san! You know, contributing to the better of society by understanding the psychology behind a criminal's mindset, motives for their murder, aiding in interrogations... Ah, I wish for a day where the society is crime-free from those absolutely despair-full, lowest of all scums of the earth..."
Somehow, the conversation was leading to a rather tricky situation to respond to. You could only titter. Normally, anyone would probably stay away from him as far as possible the moment he reveals his creepy behaviour. But as bizarre as his personality may be, you did not like to judge someone based on first impressions.
