Vox woke up in pain the following morning. Everything was sore and not to mention stiff.

He made a small sound from the soreness he felt in his back and neck when he tried to move.

He seemed to have fallen off the bed last night and ended up sleeping  on the floor making him very stiff

'What the hell????? I move In my sleep but my bed is way to big to... oh yeah' he had forgotten that he had slept on the furthest side of the bed as possible.

As much as he liked to tease and flirt with people the idea of sleeping in the same bed as a very attractive male still made him a little nervous. What if he did something weird in his sleep?

It was all fine though as when he went to check at Shoto he found that the boy was fast asleep and would never know of how their first night together went for Vox.

'He looks dead' Vox might have actually thought that too if he couldn't see the slow movement from his breathing.

He decided not to touch him and got on with his day. He needed to get to breakfast soon as it had already started, it was a prime gossip time and is how he kept up with the affairs of the clan.

As he was about to leave the room he remembered that Shoto might want food when he woke up. So he wrote him a note with a promise to food on it, leaving it taped to his face

With that out of the way he made his way to breakfast. He could hear the chatter of the hall from his place by the kitchen.

"Sayuri, could you leave out some food in the kitchen for our guest? He was sleeping so well, I really didn't want to wake him." The chef named nodded her head with an eye roll and laugh. Her Lord was so silly. Not wanting to wake someone because they looked comfortable? How silly indeed.

Making his way to go and eat himself he made sure his entrance was grand.

Flinging the doble doors open he walked into the room with a grace he knew only he could achieve.

Sitting at the head of the table the room was quiet.

"What the matter? Is the food not to all of your liking? Is there a question you all have?" The questions prompted negative answers and the people returning to their meals.

'It so much fun to mess with them' scaring his people was one of him hobbies. Wether it be using suspense to his advantage or his expression, it was always so amazing.

Continuing on with his meal he was Only half paying attention to the war story he was being told he listened for anything worth easdropunf on.

There really wasn't anything good, only the normal things like

'When do you think Tokugawa will attack?'

'How much longer do you think we really have'

'All will be fine as long as we have Lord Akuma'

that is until he hear an interesting snippet of some older solders conversations

"How long do you think the human will last?"
