Shoto awoke with a start. He had been dreaming about Bakumori again... but this time things ended sweetly. There was no disaster, no one was dead, Vox was even there, talking happily with Ether. It was a nice dream...

Taking note of the rising sun Shoto decided to clean himself up in the washroom Vox had said he could use. The room was quiet luxurious, the nicest place he has ever cleaned himself in for sure.

It took all of fifteen minutes for him to be fully dressed again. At this point he had nothing elce to do as he wasn't to meet Mikomo, and now Hikaru and Yami as well, until after breakfast.

So he decided to bother Vox.

Going over to his side of the bed Shoto kneeled down to be face to face with the man. Taking note of the soft breathing Shoto got a horrible idea.

Reaching over to pinch Voxes nose shut Shoto let out a surprised skwak when he was harshly grabbed and pined beneath the man, who seemed to have reacted on instinct.

They just kind of looked at each other for a minute before Vox coughed into his hand and got up from the bed, moving to his vanity.

"I am so sorry Shoto, I didn't meant to- I did want to hurt you- You just caught me off guard." Sensing the panic that the man's voice Shoto let out a smile to hopefully calm him down.

"It's alright, I was invading anyway. You have really good reflexes though, I barely even touched you!" The skillful topic change allowed for the air in the room to lighten.

"Yes, in my younger days I trained by having some servants attack me with wood panels in the night. It has saved my numerous times before. If you ever get the chance I'd suggest you try to obtain this skill as well."

"Yes, I probably will one day. Perhaps after I've healed?"

"I think that a wonderful idea, I'm sure any of the maids would have no problem with helping you-" Vox cut his offer short, having noticed Shotos blank expression.

Shoto had no interest in stay with the demons after he healed. Even if the thought of leaving for good was disappointing, he had a goal to fulfill.... He would come back here after he gets stronger to fulfill it. He had to... for his home...his family... Ether.....

'Would any of them even want this? These people have been nothing but good...'

Deciding to not think about that yet Shoto stands and tells Vox he needed to use the washroom.

Standing alone in the room, staring at the reflective glass before him, Shoto finally got a good look at himself for the first time in years. He noticed how tired he looked. Took note of the light scars, barely visible but there. His Mama would be worried over him for sure.... But she wasn't here now was she.

The two didn't speak again until after breakfast. It wasn't that Shoto was mad, he wasn't, he just didn't know what to say. He didn't want to stay any longer then necessary. Yep. So Vox making plans for things they would do together made him a little uncomfortable.

"So Shoto," Vox was the one to brake the silence, "after I'm done with my meetings I'll come and get you from Mikomo, I've instructed her on the four locations I'm going to look to find you both when I'm done so if you aren't there I'm going to panic Oke?"
