Shoto had been rather depressed for the last few days and it concerned Vox a lot. There were moments when he would perk up a bit after he had been there visiting for a while but he always seemed to go back to being gloomy when he left

This was the exact opposite of the previous trend in his mental state. It seemed to be a dip though rather then a huge problem. He couldn't be sure though. He needs not keep a close eye on him.

To day was the day that he said Shoto could leave his room. If Vox was being honest, Shoto could have left the moment he could stand.

However The king of place that He will be walking into is not about to be as great as he is probably imagining. When ever and elder was around he would have to be treated poorly.

And, while the young demons all agree about humans that doesn't mean that they are all kind. It made him really nervous. He did not want to give the boy another reason to hate demons.

He opened Shotos door slow and quietly today. Looking in at the boy he gave a simile.

Much to Voxes surprise, Shoto smiled back. It was a little smile but it was there. And that made Voxes smile grow to a grin

"Well Shoto, today is the day you have been waiting for! You ca now leave your room. I have a nice chain for yo caller too. The others really want to meet you, which in the elders case can't mean anything good but it'll be fine I'm sure." Shoto let out a very exasperated huff at his words but walked over to the demons side anyway.

This was actually the first time that they had stood close enough to compare their height and Vox was not pleased with the fact they were eye level to each other

One look at shotos face told Vox that he was quite happy.
"Well Vox, you gonna chain me up?" Shoto remarked this with a flirtatious tone and shit eating grin.

That didn't last long though as He very quickly turned things around

Vox looped his arm around Shotos waist, grabbed his hand and duped him to where Shoto was almost on the ground.

Vox then slowly and with a seductive expression hooked the chain the the caller he was wearing and said in a low voice;

" precisely" it was meant to be a silly little joke but it turned Shoto into a tomato.

"W-what? N-no I, I, I, don't look at me." He turned us head as far as he could do he didn't have to see Voxs face.

'God, how can a person be so cute'

Vox laughed loudly as he stood them up right again, very satisfied with himself.

Shoto refused to meet Voxes eyes only making him tease the boy more

Eventually they both calmed down and Vox lead him to the door.

"We're going to start with a quick tour that will end at the dining hall where we'll get some food. That is also where all the other demons are so that'll be where I show you off. I'm going to need you to act like a beaten and broken child when their so the elders will hopefully be fooled. You mostly won't be able to tell them apart backed off of looks as demons age different from humans. So just keep your act up for everyone ok?"
