The Glow I Saw.
- The next day, Leslie and Isabella were inside, as it rained outside. They were in the library while Leslie practiced his song and Isabella tried to help by reading musical books. He found it quite adorable at how much the girl wanted to help him finish and perfect the song.
- But it all stopped when Leslie placed down the brown instrument from his hands. "I'm tired. How about we take a break for now?" He said walkibg past the girl who was on the floor kicking her legs. She was confused by this until he went to the bookshelf to find one of their favourite books by an author. "How about we read for a while?"
- Isabella thought for a second. Even though she wasn't the biggest fan of reading, she still found some of it enjoyable. She especially loved the ones with a bunch of pictures, and since Leslie knew that, he picked her favourite one.
- The black haired girl got up, and walked over to him since he now sat at the table big enough for atleast twenty one chuldren and chose the spot next to him. It still drizzled outside which made it the perfect time to read a nice book and relax since they had been studying and playing his instrument all day.
- They both read aloud, giving eachother chances to speak as they giggled and enjoyed their time together. While it was Leslie's turn to read, he felt a small bump on his shoulder. He looked down to see a sleeping girl who was much comfortable on him as it seemed. He didn't want to startle her awake and left her there, since he wasn't strong enough to pick her up.
- It was now nighttime and the mother of the orphanage had counted to see two children missing for dinner. Hurridely, she looked everywhere, every nook and crany, that is until she found them. Her eyes softened, seeing the two sleeping so peacefully in the library as the moon lit up the room just barely. She picked up one at a time, placing them into their right sleeping places before going back to eat.
- As the next mornibg arose, Isabella and Leslie were now under the tree they usually sit at. It seemed to have dried overnight from all the rain and sun this morning.
- Leslie played his lullaby for the last time, and that was when it was just right. "We did it!" Isabella high-fived him as the both celebrated quietly. They had planned to now play for everyone that same night. Now that the actual work was done, they laid on the grass watching the sky and the clouds to see what funny shapes they made.
- "Is that an Elephant?" "Looks more like a dog to me" They went on and on. "Oh my god its a butterfly!" Isabella pointed, soon realizing that it wasn't a cloud. "What where?!" Leslie got up, accidentally hitting his head on the tree bark. Isabella held out her finger gently as the butterfly came onto it.
- She watched in awe, observing the colour of its wings. It was a beautiful white butterfly, and it had brownish-yellow lines that flowed through the wings. It seemed like it glowed under the suns light before soaring into the bright sky. The duo watched, amazed at the wonderful creature. But what amazed Leslie even more was how Isabella had taken her approach to the butterfly. He found it cute.
- Isabella stared up at the sky, not knowing Leslie was looking at her. "It was soooo pretty! Did you see when it landed on my finger?!" As Isabella ranted on and on about he butterfly, Leslie couldn't help but smile. He loved when she talked about stuff like this.
