Memory Lane
- Isabella finally got out of her daydream, to realize what she was holding. A tear had stained her cheek, as he was quick to wipe it. She took a deep breath and placed down the flower that had been smushed under all the paper and books. She grabbed another ink, finished off her writing an began to go back donstairs for Conny's shipment.
- "Emma? Would you be a dear and help Conny get ready?" Isabella asked, on her way to clean up after dinner. The ginger nodded and they both parted ways. 'She has potiental.' Isabella thought. Emma could escape the horrific death and become a Mother or a Sister for a house, Maybe even Gracefield.
- It was now Conny's departier as Isabella held her tiny hand. Little bunny was in Connys other hand as everyonebid their goodbyes to her. For a brief moment, Isabella saw Leslie in Conny with the same smile. However, she tried not to lose her act and walked htrough the door with Conny.
- As they walked down to gate, Isabella hummed a beautiful melody that she had in her head everyday. "Mom? What are you humming?" The littke girl asked, Isabella only smiled at her before holding up the lantern and arriving at the gate. The same gate her friend was killed at.
- "Isabella? Are you ok?" Leslie asked, taking a piece of garlic bread from his plate and eating it. The black-haired girl only nodded in response. However, the boy was not taking that as her proper, honest answer. He had loved her after all, he has to know when she was upset or not.
- Later that evening, he went up to her, the instrument in hand. He started playing the sonf without a word but the humming retracting from his mouth. Isabella knew that he knew she was upset, and smiled at the thought of him trying to fix it.
- After the lullaby, he sat next to her as she placed her head on his shoulder comfortably. She fell asleep soon after in the silence as Leslie looked out the window. He saw two of the same butterflies dancing with one another, as they shined like the moon and stars. He looked down at the girl and kissed her forehead gently.
- "Whatever happens, I'll always be by your side." He whispered, moving the hair out of her face. He knew what was to come, and he couldn't bare the thought of leaving Isabella. But it was better than him living miserably without her.
- Isabella was fast asleep, she had no idea he even said anything at all. But sadly, her nightmares took over her thoughts, leaving her, and her alone to suffer, in another reality.
- Isabellas eyes were now saddened with the thought of Leslie. "Another six-year old. We've been shipping out average ones lately." The demon spoke, tapping and scratching the clipboard with the childrens number codes. "Is the Gupna done?" "Mostly, sir." All this, just to survive. Isabella was about to go back to the house until one of the demons retracted a stuffed toy. It was Conny's littke bunny.
- Isabella, knowing she left it at home, was now curious. That had to mean one or more of her children had seen everything. But of course, she wasn't going to get herself killed for such an inconvinence, and thats when everything started to get a bit more complicated.
