- Isabella felt odd today. Not that she was sick or anything, but something just didn't sit right in her gut. Her veins pumped the feeling all over her body as she got ready for the day, getting her brown boots. "Leslieeee" She dragged, running down the staircase for breakfast.

- After doing their chores, it was now playtime, like it always was. Isabella followed Leslie around since he said he smhad something to show her. She nodded and thats how they ended up walking through the forest. "How longer is this gonna take?! My legs are killing me.." The purple-hair boy chuckled. "Trust me, its worth the while."

- They walked on for about another two minutes before he dragged the girl down the the floor placing a fibger over his mouth. Confused, she nidded reluctantly, her eyes followibg where his finger was now pointing at. To her surprise, a little spot of flowers was there and the same butterflies danced around, the glimmer never ending.

- Leslie smiled at the awe on the girls face and kept watching. Isabella, so badly, wanted to have all on her arm for the rest of the day but a few seconds after, it seemed they were gone. "Woahhhh" She whispered out, coming out of the hiding spot and sitting next to the flowers. "Some dandelions.. peonies.. ooo! And some lillies.." Her fingers grazed upon the delicate feel of the petals.

- "How long have you known this was here?!" She looked up to see Leslie standing above her. He looked alot taller until he stooped down to reach her height. "Only today. Some of the other kids found it first so I decided to check it out."

- She hummed for a response as she looked at the flowers, picking one carefully. She placed a white peony ontop of her hair. "I bet I'd look amazing if I were a flower." She crossed her arms and smiled at her confidence, leading the boy next to her to smile as well. After break, they made their way back inside for lunch.

- "I wonder what we're eating... I'm starving!" The black-haired girl sat down on the wooden chair. Mother had made soup with some garlic bread it seemed and it looked like Isabelka was just eating the smell of it. After grace, everyone dug in as the caretaker of the orphanage had spoke up. "Everyone, I have an announcement to make." She paused for emphasize, everyone geting even more curious by the second.

- "Your dear brother Leslie is getting adopted tonight!"

- Time seemed to have frozen.

- Isabella's eyes widened at the statement. She wasn't dumb. She knew about the whole scheme of the "orphanage". Leslie wasn't even near to getting adopted. He was about to die. To be eaten by those oh so cruel monsters.

- The statement stayed in Isabella's mind, her appitite vanished into a dark hole. She felt all the colour of her skin drain as her brain processed it. 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝐼𝑠𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎 ℎ𝑎𝑑 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑.

- Her breath was now unstable, her heart was racing. She tried to play it off but of coure, Leslie noticed her off behaviour. "Isabella... are you alright?"
