"Yuh know seh at first mi nevah wah come a dah eediat sumn yah. But god know, dis look nice. The decor, the way how everybody dolled up. Place a gwaan man." I whispered to Neike as we slowly approached the crowded area.
"Yuh think this bad? Wait till mi carry yuh gah di next party"
"Neike nuh badda wid ih fuckry which next party?" I asked in a frustrated tone. Just by having Dontae see me dress in this manner would be enough to drain my social battery much less go to next party after this.
"This anuh real party babes. Dexta and Jada a perform a di next location. Mi just come here so cause as an influencer yuh know yuh haffi show up and show support to yuh supporters just like how dem support you."
"Suh Neike why yuh nevah tell me beforehand?"
"DUTTY FOOT NEIKE" a girl in a 40 inch blonde lace wig called out to my twin.
"NAH BADE CRYSTAL" they both laughed hysterically as they did a secret handshake.
Neike was my own sister and we didn't have that. No fault of hers of course, but I was still jealous of the closeness Crystal had to my half sibling.
"Fren yuh memba mi sister right? Me, you and her guh watch "Finding Dory" inah 2017 a Carib"
"Ohhh youuu. Yeah mi member man. Good times. Candy, right?" the lightskin girl with the long lashes asked.
"Candice, please" I said, my tone a bit harsher than intended.
"Yeah, sorry. But if memba right yuh nuh like crowd?"
"No enuh but you know Neike. She nuh tek no fi an answer."
We all giggled as we made way to the bar.
"Boom wid Wray and cousin white rum fi mi deh" Crystal ordered but Neike stopped her.
"Mi nuh trust dah gyal deh" Neike whispered to us "Order a flask and a sealed bottle a boom"
"3 flask a Wray and bredda rum and 2 Boom and a Pepsi instead" Crystal yelled over the music.
The Bartender, who had her boobs spilling out of her push-bra handed us the rum and bottles, but before we could take them, large brown hands took up the bottles of rum and energy drinks.
One by one, with a snare on our faces we all looked to see Dontae and Leo with our beverages.
"Weh unoo table deh?" He asked with a smirk.
"V.I.P section. We have a table reserved" Neike replied in a flirtatious tone.
A weh di rawse a gwaan?
The V.I.P section was a lot less noisy. Upon taking our seats we realized there were bottle girls that were assigned to our table to bring us drinks.
Crystal offered Leo and Dontae seats at our table and they accepted.
Leo was drooling all over Crystal even though she looked like a capital "P". I guess he had a thing for girls with large breasts.
"Sorry bout mi bredrin, him kindah drunk" Don said to Neike.
"Do you guys know each other?" I asked.
Dontae was sitting between myself and my sister and to my sister's left was Leo and Crystal.
"Oh, Candice this is my ex, Dontae"
Her EX? What?
I couldn't show my feelings. I must play the fool and pretend not to know Dontae.
"Oh nice to meet you, Dontae. I'm Candice" I said with a smile.
He squinted his eyes at me as I mouthed "just go with it"
"Oh wah gwaan Canz" he said with a wink.
And as always Neike was clueless, and lost in her phone.

"So weh yuh been up to" Neike asked Dontae.
"Guh pick up ih benz today enuh"
"Oh?" she said in the same flirty tone she used earlier.
"So what do you do?" I asked interrupting my sister's flirting .
"I trade."
So him a choppa?
"Oh really? Forex & Bitcoin and dem ting deh?"
I asked while I poured myself a glass of moet that was at our table upon arrival.
"Deece yuh memba Shavon?"
My sister interrupted as she turned her phone to me showing me a picture of my primary school boyfriend.
"Bwoy stay good yf now girl, him used to evah dutty like any bus and him bruck up bruck up glasses"
"Mi nah feel di vibes a dah party here enuh" Dontae said in a tone and facial expression that suggested he wanted to leave with me.
There was something about him. I can't tell if it's his body built or the bulge in his jeans or the cologne he was wearing. It could've been the fact that I was tipsy, but something made me want to submit. Let him have his way with me tonight. Do exactly as he said and nothing else. To please him; to satisfy his desires.
And just like that, without a word we left the table. Passing Crystal and Leo, Leo was clearly fingering her as she bit into his neck at the edge of the semi-circular table. Neike didn't seem to care that we were leaving. She was taking boomerangs to post on her IG story.
Heading towards Dontae's car, I realized he was driving a black Range Rover. I wondered if this was Leo's car.
A notification came to my phone
Neike Sis ❤️: Mi aguh make a move pon Shavon. We aguh leave inah half hour.
Damn girl.
I didn't reply. Dontae opened the passenger's side door and I hopped in. He walked around and entered on the driver's side and left the parking lot.
After driving for what felt like 10 minutes we were on a hill. A quiet hill there were no sounds of frogs or crickets it was just peaceful.
Dontae's eyes were like fireflies or peenie wallies as we Jamaicans say, and the moon light shone in through the moon roof.
We were staring at each other. After a while he broke the gaze in a chuckle.
"You know why you're here right?"
"No I don't actually", I said "would you mind enlightening me on why I'm here Mr.?"
"Douglas." "My last name is Douglas."
"Okay Dontae Douglas"
