In his bedroom sat 18 year old Timothy Crothers.
He heard yelling from downstairs.
"BITCH! I WILL CRAWL OVER AND BEAT YOU SENSELESS!!!"
He heard a smack soon afterwards followed by a feminine cry.
"Mom?" Tim said.
Tim had gotten up and went downstairs and had sat outside and lit a cigarette.
He sat there thinking away on the swinging bench on the back porch facing out towards the gravel driveway from behind his house.
He didn't think his life was important more than others considering the lack of value of people nowadays but he couldn't have expected anything worse, his amnesiac and short term memory loss and black outs diagnosis was nothing to bat an eye about considering since he never really talked about it.
What was there to talk about really?
It was a diagnosis given to him by the doctor when he was 3 years old. He'd have frequent fits and tantrums all the time usually but he had gotten older they hadn't happened frequently as to be expected, but nonetheless Tim had diceptively digressed since it no longer was a frequent problem to him in the slightest of the least of people's concerns.
"Tiiiiimmmmooothy!"
A voice called to him.
Tim had looked up.
He looked out into the woods and saw nothing.
"Tiiiiimmmmooothy!"
Tim had still looked as he had then saw a faceless figure emerge from the shadows slowly.
It stood there in the walk path of the entrance of the woods it was about 16ft tall and had tentacles beaching from it's own back.
"Tiiiiimmmmooothy!" The faceless entity called out.
Tim had sat there and within a blink of an eye had appeared at the end of the gravel driveway and placed something white and smooth in the metal tin trash can beside the driveway.
Soon the faceless figure had vanished from thin air, Timothy had put the cigarette that had been burning out in he fingers for some time; he got up and walked down the stairs and off the porch and towards the trash cans.
He reached inside the metal tin can and had pulled out a white mask.
(Tim's mask)
He touched the mask, it felt smooth and hard like porcelain, it had faded dark grey circles around the eyes and the same faded dark grey on the lips as well, and subtle painted on thin veins on the eyeholes and lips as well to.
Tim had spaced out for a moment there as he held the mask and snapped out of it as he heard his mother calling out to him.
"Tim!" His mother said.
"You can come back inside, I threw your dad out.""Okay!" Tim sniffed a little bit and then went back inside as he then looked outside towards the trees and saw nothing.
Tim held the mask in his hands and went back into the house.
"Hey mom, I'mma go get cleaned up here alright?" Tim said.
"Alright sweetie!" His mom said not bothering to notice the weird porcelain mask that her son had held.
