Son Of The Shadow Monarch

Chapter 4

(Let's get started. This is going to be longer than normal prepare and let me know if you want them to stay this long or make them sorter.)

Last we left off, our heroes were on their way back, but let's look at someone else's view. We go to Olivia sitting under the tree Izuku was sleeping under earlier with Eri on her lap, playing with her. As Glynda stood away from them, pouting and watching the students progress through the test. She wanted to be the one to take care of Eri but lost the coin flip, so she was stuck watching these people fumble about. She did use this time to try and find Izuku, but he was nowhere to be found. Glynda kept looking for him. She was about to say something to Olivia but stopped as she witnessed Izuku slamming the head of an Ursa into the ground and saving Jane Arc.

She watched as they talked for a bit, with Jane trying to convince Izuku to join them until he found someone. She watched him vanish into thin air as he refused and started to walk away. This shocked her, and she walked over to Olivia, who was now braiding Eri's hair.

"Olivia, watch this" Glynda showed Olivia and Eri what had just happened with Izuku's disappearance. This confused Olivia greatly, but Eri spoke up.

Eri: "Papa just disappeared!" They both looked at the small girl in Olivia's lap

Olivia: "Do you know what he did to do that, Eri?"

Eri: "Papa once told me he got it from Grandpa and other things."

Glynda: "What were those other things?"

Eri: "Papa told me not to tell anyone about them unless he said I could, so I won't tell. Papa trusts me."

"It's ok, Eri, we were just curious. We won't ask you anymore about it, right Glynda." Olivia said, shooting a look at her colleague.

"yes, that is right, Eri," Glynda said, nodding and going back to watching the students leaving Olivia with Eri. As this went on, students started to arrive back at the meeting spot with the artifacts they got. The only people out there were the eight groups who still had to grab their artifacts and Izuku, who did not have a partner.

She watched the ruins as said groups appeared and looked at the artifacts. She watched as Izuku appeared and was hugged by Ruby, causing her to become a bit jealous. Him saying something to Yang and causing her to blush and look away. She was so wrapped up in what was happening she didn't hear Olivia approach her from behind, holding Eri.

"what is going on over here that has you so focused?" Olivia said, causing Glynda to jump and look back.

"nothing, just watching the last group grab their artifacts, but it seems Mr. sung doesn't have a teammate, and there are only two sets left." Glynda said, showing Olivia the live view of the ruins

Olivia: "oh, that is not good looks like we will be going with our other plan for him then if this is the case."

Eri: "what other plan, Ms. Olivia?"

Olivia: "you don't need to worry about it, little one. Nothing bad is going to happen."

"ok!" Eri said, giving a blinding smile to the two women. As they were looking at Eri, they heard someone yell from the screen, and Eri perked up at this because she heard a name she was familiar with.

Izuku: "IGRIS!!!" The three watched as a dark shadow appeared out of Jane's shadow and attacked the Death Stalker, about to impale her. They were interrupted from the screen by the sound of Eri yelling.

Eri: "UNCLE IGRIS!!" The two women looked at the small girl and then at the screen at the shadow man. Then their eyes widened in horror as a horde of Grimm came out of the forest, and a giant Nevermore flew overhead. They watched as Izuku and Ruby argued, and then she and the other left Izuku alone.
