Sunny's Perspective :
I sighed. I pulled my socks on and slipped on my shoes. I glanced at my watch and began to freak out. This was no good. I was definitely late. And the nightmare last night had not contributed at all. I raced down, grabbed an apple, rushed out of the kitchen.
"Sunny! Wait! Aren't you gonna eat anything?!" yelled my Mom.
"No, I'm not hungry" I shouted back, but not in anger, but by the fact that she wouldn't be able to hear me.
"But you can't just-
That's all I heard her say before I slammed shut the front door, and shoved the keys deep down my pocket. I took a peep at my watch and nearly exploded. I was 15 MINUTES LATE. I was sooo gonna get a telling off. But I couldn't just run there, I wasn't fast enough. I looked at my old bike next to me. I sighed. I'll have to use that, even though it's been years since I've used it.
I took a deep breath and grabbed the handle bards, and started pedalling steadily. My hands shook a bit. I wobbled a lot, and one occasion it seemed to me that I was gonna land straight at the road, and endure a car accident, but with a stroke of luck, I didn't.
I reached the school, gasping for breath, quickly balancing my bike against the wall, I ran into the building. I shoved all of my books to my bag. I looked at my timetable. Phew. I had English. Miss Lewis was nice. I'd seen kids enter class 10 minutes before it ended, and Miss Lewis, just gave them a smile, asked them why they were late, (most of them just making up a lame excuse), and continuing. I entered the classroom door , still out of breath, and at at my desk which as the front of the class.
"Oooh, look who's late...the teacher's pet is !" laughed Duncan Harrison, nudging his friends. The whole class whopped. He went up to me and bent down. "How does it feel being late for once, shortie?"he continued. I heard giggles behind me. He suddenly grabbed my pencil case and picked it up, holding it high above my reach. I stood up but I couldn't reach. I'm 5'5, whilst he's 6'0 the difference?! I jumped up an down, but still couldn't reach. The giggles turned to laughter now. So, you know what I did? I kicked him in the d!ck with my knee, and grabbed it as he doubled up onto the ground. But I wasn't finished yet. I kicked his stomach, put my foot on his head and started to squash, but then the teacher stopped.
"Sunny Astor! Principal's office, NOW" she commanded.
I leaned towards Duncan and said, " You're lucky now b!itch, but I haven't finished yet."
I spat on his cheek and left. Smirking. I had finally taught that bully a lesson. Now onto face the Principal. I sighed as I closed the door of his office behind me.
...
Ugh. The Principal had given me a 10 day suspension. Can you believe it?! He probably must be on drugs. Ugh, I'm just so mad...I wanna leave this hellhole of a place. Better get home now.
...
"Sunny, explain this to me, right now!" Mom yelled at me. My Principal had called my Mom, and now she fuming at me.
"I don't wanna talk about it..." I murmured.
"What do you mean!" she replied, seizing hold of my two shoulders and shaking them.
"I said, I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT THIS!" I yelled, stunning both of us. I grabbed this opportunity to get off, and run upstairs, lock the bedroom and sink down onto my bed. Why? Why me? Why does this have to happen to me? I turned my head to the side and saw the tulips resting on my windowsill. I smiled. Oh Basil. How I would love to wrap my arms around you. I blushed. Basil always lightened my mood. Now that I was settled down, time to clean my room. Basil wouldn't have wanted me to lie in all this filth. I grabbed my broom and starting scrubbing.
...
I wiped the sweat of. Phew. I was tidy now. But the cleaning had brought me painful memories of Basil. Oh Basil, Oh Basil, Oh Basil...numbers can't describe how much I miss you. I wish you were with me, by my side holding my hand, comforting me, reading to me, smiling to me. Even a glimpse of your smile would be enough to keep me going for years. I lay down, and started to think...
"I know! I run away to Basil! Then I can escape form this horrid place!" I said aloud. I covered my mouth, hoping Mom hadn't heard me. Phew. I started packing excitedly. I was gonna see Basil by tonight if I hurried. I packed up a few clothes. I don't think Basil would mind sharing. I grabbed my pocket money. I had enough. Enough for 1 ride to there. I sighed happily. I was just about to leave when I forgot to leave a note to Mom. Ugh. I scribbled down I note, stuck it into the fridge, grabbed my keys, and left. I breathed it happily. I headed off to the train station, taking a bus ride.
"Don't worry, my dear Basil...I'm coming for you, you just wait" I whispered.
Authors note: Sorry for short chapter. I'm busy with schoolwork. Though I still thought it would be good to end this chapter after this phrase, don't ask why...
