"Two new players has now joined the game!"

A sound of a creepy crackle can be heard before everything went bright.

Suddenly, she was transported in an endless white void.

She squints her eyes, the memories that led up to this moment was blank.

The last thing she remembered, was cradling her father in her arms, as he eventually died of blood loss.

There was this weird feeling that there was something missing, something that she can't pin point.

As if she was forgetting something important.

She looked around, she realized that everything was nothing but a void of white, and she stands there at nothing.

'Wait, two? What does it mean two?' she questions, glancing around.

To her left was a guy, he looked like he was in his mid thirties, his hair was in a buzz-cut, and he wore a white robe that resembled a yakuta.

She looks down and realized, that she too, is wearing the same Japanese looking clothes.

"Welcome, new players."

The same creepy voice calls out.

She and the man simultaneously turn their heads to the source of the voice, and what they saw was something that looked like a human, but quite one.

It had a human's torso, hands that had eyes in their palm sticking out it's entire back, It's skin was pure white, and it's face was devoid of any features.

Except for the side way hour clock (that looked like an triangular infinity symbol), aside from that, there was no other features.

'What kind of creature was it?' she thought.

"My, curious aren't we dear?"

The creature head the turned to her, it's tone amused.

"Gabby your name was it?"

She felt a chill in the back of her neck, automatically, her body nods at it's question.

"I am nor human or creature,"

"I am what many of you call a God."

It giggles.

"Are- are you the one- I mean- the voice that got us here?" Asch shutters.

'Was that his name?'

"The one who- who wanted us to play this 'game' of second chances?" He questions.

"You are right tiny human!"

It suddenly appears infront of him.

"You, and that lady-"

one of its hands points to her,

"-will play a game!"

The front of it's hands claps together.

"What is that game? you may wonder."

"Well, since both your lives are, abit, tragic, you'll be given a second chance to live!"

'a second chance to live?'

"That's right small lady! You'll be sent back in a moment of your life where a different decision could have change the course of your lives!"

Asch, the guy with her raises his hand.

"Yes, Asch boy?"

"If you're giving us a second chance to live since as you said, our lives were tragic, don't you think that we would prefer to use this chance to live in peace?" Asch questions.

"But that's no fun! You'll be using this chance your getting to rise to the top and end those who made your live a misery!"

"Why?" He blurts out.

"To satisfy the audience!"

It cheerfully exclaimed.

'Audience?'

"You'll be given vague task(s), and you will have to do your best to entertain the readers!"

"The more they enjoy your performance(s) the more points you'll get! You can trade those points for things, info, knowledge, hints, or maybe, your memories!"

'Wait, memories?' she wonders.

"Complete the game and you can freely live out your lives however you want!"

"Isn't that a fair trade?" It says innocently.

She stared at nothing for a moment (literally).

Truth be told, the weird god thing gave her the creeps.

But, she would be lying if the sound of sweet revenge didn't rang bells like music to her ears.

The sight of her mortal enemy, Devon Gulliver, begging for his life as he kneeled down at her feet, made Gabrielle smile in delight.

After all, He was the source of her suffering.

She smiled bitterly.

Remembering all the people she had lost just because of Devon going koko, made her pissed.

Was it really necessary for him to bring innocent bystanders into their psychotic game of chess?

Did he really have to take as much life as possible, just to see her suffer?

Thinking of all that pain that Devon in her and others made her blood run cold.

Maybe, if she accepts the offer she'll be able to see them again-

"Looks like our candidates had finally decided!"

It happily announce.

"But what decision will they choose~"

it giggled in a child like manor, it's laugh sending a chill down her spine.

She glances at the man to her left, it looked like he had came to the same decision as her.

"So~ do you accept?"

It raises its hands, motioning them to shake it.

"I accept" Asch bravely says, shaking it's hand.

"Hn, I too accept" she follows, standing up, and the God takes her hand.

"Good choice," It merely states.

"Let us welcome our two new players! And let us hope that two of you won't disappoint us. And may your game be an eventful and hectic one!"

Asch's suddenly shifts, it looks like he just had realized something.

"wait, what happens if we disappoint th-"

He was cut off by a blinding light.

Then suddenly, all that could be seen was pitch black.

"Let the games begin!"

The echo of the voice was the last thing she heard before her consciousness slipped away.
