Vanessa pushes the tall heavy doors of the church and gets already a horrible feeling. She doesn't know why but this wave of uncomfortableness weights on her. She looks at her younger sister as she takes the lead and start walking on the empty aisle. The rays of sun shine through the stained glass with differ drawings on them. The reflects of the colour palette on the wooden pews make the church feel beautiful, but the emptiness and the resonating footsteps of the sisters give it a horror film look. Celeste takes a right to get to the Father's office. She gets closer to the door and glares at her sister, who feels just as 'scared' as her. The widow knocks on the door. An anxious feeling takes over the sisters as they try to listen for footsteps or Father Benjamin's voice. They stare at each other, both knowing that something is going on.

-"Father Benjamin?" Celeste asks.

-"Father?" her sister asks.

-"Are you here?"

They knew that Father Benjamin couldn't have been out, he's in the church at precisely seven in the morning and leaves at seven in the evening. Shivers goes through the widow's spine as she carefully turns the doorknob. The door slowly opens and reveals what Celeste feared most. Vanessa gasps as soon as she gets a look inside the office. Celeste slowly walks in and makes sure that he has no pulse. Tears came up as she patiently waited for a hope, praying to God that he could possibly still be alive.

-"How did this happen?"

Without giving an answer to her shocked sister, Celeste approached the body and looked at the Father's desk.

You're not getting rid of me today, darling.

She knew. This was no accident. She knew exactly who was responsible of this act and visibly, so did her sister.

-"He did this?..."

-"Looks like it."

Suddenly feeling watched by an evil pair of eyes, Celeste quickly glared outside of the office, no one.

-"Celeste, stop being paranoid."

-"Okay well sorry for being on my guard because we're in an empty church containing the Father of the neighbourhood dead!"

Vanessa took her phone out and quickly dialled 911. When she heard her sister speak to an officer, Celeste quickly ripped the paper with the evil message on it and hid it in her purse. She also took care of taking a few books who would talk about possession and hid them in her purse as well. When Vanessa hang up the phone, the police sirens, indicating the law enforcement's arrival, resonated in the whole church. The sisters rushed out of the office to go greet the officers. They showed them the scene of the crime and answered a few questions. Some officers took pictures of the scene and took some clues in little plastic bags. Once they we're all done, the main investigator offered the girls a ride home, but they politely declined, saying that their car was parked in front.

Without saying a word, the sisters slowly walked out of the church, replaying for an infinite amount of time the Father's dead body. The only noise heard was their footsteps making large amount of noise. Celeste could clearly see how uncomfortable her eldest sister was.

-"You can drop me back home." The widow said as she closed the door of her sister's white car.

-"Are you crazy? I would never bring you back there, especially with... knowing that Michael is capable of horrible things."

-"It's not Michael who did it. This man, or should I say ghost, is not the Michael I know. It's this soul, a horrible soul, who is obsessed with staying alive and in denial of their death."

-"Celeste, I know you refuse to believe it, but you never truly know a person. You know what they say, anybody can be a killer if you push them far enough."

-"Whatever."
