It was the day after trick or treating, Vivvie is still super confused on what was following her and Will last night, she had never seen it before. The only monster she had seen from the upside down was the demogorgon but that thing definitely wasn't the demogorgon it was more darker, mistier, scarier and just was different from the demogorgon and it seemed as though Max was confused about something like that while her and Vivvie were walking down the hallway.
"I still don't get why they call him zombie boy. I mean, I get it. He got lost in the woods for a week or something, but why is he a zombie? Because everyone thought he was dead?" Max said confused making Vivvie sigh. "Something like that. I mean we had a funeral for him and everything." Vivvie somewhat explained what she had heard since she wasn't actually there when that all happened. "After a week?" Max asked even probably even more confused than before. "Well I mean this other kid drowned at the quarry and they thought it was Will since their body was like super decomposed." Vivvie explained a little better.
"What? Okay, thats not funny." Max stopped them and said. "I'm not kidding. I don't kid about that type of crap and its public knowledge. You can ask literally anyone, but Will because he's really sensitive about it, and if i figure out that Will cried because you brought it up i might have to kill you Maxine so do you understand? Are we on the same page?" Vivvie stated and threated Max. Max just stared at Vivvie in shock of that last sentence. "Okay." Max finally replied and turned to go to first period.

They were in science class with Vivvies favorite teacher, Mr. Clarke, learning about some guy back in the 1800s who got a crowbar stabbed threw his head.
"The case of Phineas Gage is one of the greatest medical curiosities of all time." Mr Clarke started. "Phineas was a railroad worker in 1848 who had a nightmarish accident. A large iron rod was driven completely through his head." Mr Clarke continued while drawing a line across the picture of a skull. "Phineas miraculously survived. He seamed fine. And physically, yes, he was. But his injury resulted in a complete change to his personality. So much so that friends that knew him started referring to him as "No longer Gage" Mr Clark continued.
Max was staring at Will majority of the time probably wanting to ask him the questions Vivvie told her not to, while Vivvie usually would be writing notes but now she's too focused on staring at Max she looks... different today, maybe her hair is parted slightly different, maybe her hair is brighter red, maybe her hair is more curlier, Vivvie doesn't know what's different about Max but it's kinda pissing her off how Max can never look the same everyday because something changes about her... maybe she looks brighter. Vivvie wants to call her the nickname she usually calls girls when she falls for them but she doesn't think its the right time.. or the right person.
Vivvie nearly has a heart attack when Dustin bursts through the door panting like he had run here to school instead of bike. "I am so sorry, Mr Clarke. Really, I'm so sorry. Please continue with the class. Don't mind me. Really, continue, please. Thanks." Dustin said while going back to his seat out of breath. "Although it wasn't a crowbar, it was a rod, as I said." Mr Clarke went back to teaching and Vivvie took one last look at Max and started taking notes.
Dustin and the rest of the party were whispering about something and Dustin turns around to Max and Vivvie and notices Vivvie in her own "note taking" world so he just whispers to Max "AV Club. Lunch." And she either wasn't really listening or couldn't hear him because she sat up after he said that to maybe hear him better.
"Dustin!" Mr Clarke called after noticing Dustin being turned around. "Yes, my lord?" Dustin replied back. "Would you care to join the class now?" Mr Clarke asked him. "Please, yes." Dustin answered going into his bookbag. "The case of Phineas Gage" Mr Clark told Dustin. "Phineas Gage" Dustin had repeated looking up for a second but then digging back in his bag "Page 104" Mr Clark told Dustin again "104. 104" Dustin repeated again grabbing his book and sitting up straight. "Focus" Mr Clarke told Dustin. "Focusing. Focusing." Dustin repeated and turned around to face Max again.
