“Check the second floor, neither of these are the one we are looking for!”

One out of the two male voices orders from the first floor, making the young woman that is trying to find an escape or a good hiding spot even more scared. Walking into the hallway to find another room now was a bad idea, and she couldn’t jump out of the window, that would lead to at least two broken legs in her body and she wouldn’t be able to run further away.

Hearing that someone is coming up the stairs, the young woman starts to back away from her bedroom door, her back hitting the vanity table. Turning her head towards the side, she catches her reflection and she can see the fear in her eyes. With a deep breath, and the moment the door slams open, everything turns black.

Sitting right up in her bed, Sarah breaths heavily. With a hand over her heart, she tries to calm herself down, the memories of the nightmare still fresh in her mind. She makes sure to keep her eyes on the wall in front of her, afraid that if she closes her eyes, she would relieve the nightmare. With a few deep breaths, she can feel how her heart starts to slow down and she lowers her hand.

10 years later and she still wakes up like this, she had thought that if she got the time to heal, to put herself as far away from her home and in a life complete different from her original, things would be better. Yet the nightmares never stops and she can’t seem to run far enough away from what had happened to her and her family.

With a steady breath in, she reaches for the green crystal necklace that was placed on her bedside table, placing the golden chain around her neck, she rises from the bed. Knowing she won’t be able to fall asleep again, there is no need for her to just hang around in her bed all day.

With a snap of her fingers, she feels how the magic from the necklace rush through her body and her clothes changes. Looking down at herself, she smiles. The necklace had been a gift from her friends, she’s not sure how Hoggle, Sir Didymus and Ludo had managed to get their hands on a magical object like this, but she’s happy over it, and especially the protection charm that is it’s main magical ability.

As she moves from her bedroom to the kitchen, Sarah can’t help but to marvel over the fact that she has been living in the Underground for 10 years with only her Labyrinth friends knowing the truth. The fact that she is living in a Fae town outside of the Labyrinth without anyone figuring out who she really is has been a miracle. But it just shows how good the protection charm is, anyone who looks at her, at least those who doesn’t know the truth, sees a blond Fea woman and that was good enough for her.

Reaching her kitchen, she realises that she has no food home and she lets her head fall forwards, remembering now that she was supposed to have gone shopping the evening before, but she had been side tracked by other things. With a deep sigh, she looks down at her legs and smiles sadly.

“Well, come along feet, we need to find something to eat.”

She tells herself, wondering if she should try and find someone she could live with, seeing as she is starting to talk more and more to herself these days. Grabbing a cloak by her door, she steps into the morning. Her house is placed at the outside of the town, which means a few minutes of walking to reach the centre, the moment she does, she realises something is different, something had changed.

She’s used to see the Fea’s talking to one another in low voices, but this was something completely different. Gone were the smiling people Sarah have learned to love and there was a heavy atmosphere over the whole town. Making sure to keep to the side, Sarah speeds up her steps, knowing fully well that she will learn what is going on the moment she reaches the store she has in mind.

The moment she enters the store and the bell beside the door rings, the owner enters from the backroom, a large smile on her lips as her eye’s lands on Sarah, arms out as if she’s ready to hug her.
