Unexpected Love

He was just a regular guy who's parents survived Shao Kahn's invasion. They witnessed all the horror that has happened while trying to save their lives. Luckily he was born in the times of peace but has heard everything that happened back then so he decided to started training martial arts in order to prevent similar things that could happen in his future. Eventually he got really good at training and got accepted in the special forces. There he got famous Sonya Blade as his superior and has gone under even harder training. She was very strict but not as strict as she was towards her daughter. She had lot to live up to because of her parents but was arrogant just as her father. Oh she had every right to be, she was just as strong as she was beautiful. He even fought her once and got punched in the balls, he could never forget that experience. He thought that she had never noticed him and he didn't have any courage to ever approach her. After all, she was with her friends all the time and he didn't really like crowded places...

Little did he know was that she also noticed him, he was really cute to her and was totally opposite of her which she found amusing. Occasionally she would throw a sassy comment toward him but he didn't react so she kept going until she got the reaction she wanted. They hardly understood each other but had undoubtedly interest for each other....

That time he broke the rules by secretly following his superior as well as his mentor on a mission to find Kano but got caught and after an unsuccessful mission they got back to the military base with him getting viciously schooled by Sonya Blade while Cassie was couple of meters behind her mother laughing at him for doing something stupid like that. Sonya eventually finished schooling him still pissed off and at that moment Cassie started approaching, he knew that of course she had planed of making fun of him. Instead she just casually said with a smirk on her face: "If you wanted to go out with me so badly why didn't you just ask instead of acting all brave and tough on that dangerous mission." His eyes widened in confusion as he just processed what she had just said. Of course being famous for her smart comments she also said "So you like Kung Jin or something? Too bad", "Who said anything about Kung Jin?"- he said with a smirk on his face. She was amazed but not as much as he was because he finally spoke up after all those times she had teased him. Before she could say anything else he kissed her out of nowhere and as she slowly broke the kiss after a while said: "Nice one, still got some balls after i beat you that time."
