Pairing: Bucky Barnes x reader
Summary: Bucky catches you admiring the stars since you can't sleep and tells you something really special
Y/N POV
A cold breeze hit my cheek lightly as I sat on the roof of the compound. There were no clouds in the night sky so I could see all of the glittering stars and the lights of a distant plane. The only sound that echoed around the compound was the footsteps and distant chatter of two agents in the courtyard.
I looked down at your hands when I heard the sound of a metallic door screeching open from behind me. Whipping my head around I saw my boyfriend strolling towards me. I felt my shoulders relax and I looked back towards the dark view. He took a seat next to me silently and joined me looking around.
"Can't sleep?" Bucky asked nonchalantly. I nodded before turning to him "Could ask the same thing for you?" He chuckled lightly before responding "Well it's not easy falling asleep without you by side. I couldn't handle such a difficult task." A smile pulled at my lips as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder.
Pointing up at the stars I stated "The stars always look beautiful on nights like these. It seemed only logical to come up and enjoy if I can't sleep." I felt him crane his neck and look up. "Agreed." He nodded "But we need all the rest we can get. Would like to get back to bed?"
I paused taking in the view for a final time. "Sure then." He got to his feet and held out his hand for me to take. "And Y/N". He said hesitantly as I took his hand and pulled myself up to my feet.
"I just want you to know your more beautiful than every star in the universe."
