I am aware the silence is very loud and you are all prepared to give me a thorough lectured because I, of all people, is giving such a statement.

(I, who are among individuals guilty of the deed).

I ask you to hold back your rage and hear me out like a sensible individual, before you come for my unborn children.

To correct myself, I do not think there is anything inheiretedly wrong with this trope ( logic aside, for what is logic in a world where dragons are real and people can perform magic? )
if it's done right.

'HERMIONE RIDDLE' | RANT

I loathe this very much, but to a degree, I suppose I can understand the shock value in Voldemort's child — for reasons unknowst — being sent into hiding ( BUT WITH MUGGGLES?? ) and be raised one way in one belief, only to later discover they are a half-blood, blood of Salazar Slytherin and his direct descendant no less, dismissing the very fact that it takes away the majority of fundamental layers to Hermione Granger's character: one of the messages about her to all the prejudiced purebloods in the wizarding world, is that you can be great despite the misconception that Muggleborns are their inferiors and thus, less capable, less powerful, less intelligent.

And, leaving all logic behind whatsoever, Hermione begins to turn against Harry and Ron, and decides to leave her friends and all of her morals for she missed her kind and loving father (who she never knew) and decides she would rather want to be a part of his death eaters and comitt genocide.

YOUR BASIC ANATOMY LESSON.

Canonically, witches cannot reproduce as they age much like ordinary humans, take for example Euphemia and her husband Fleamont Potter.

Euphemia and Fleamont had trouble conceiving: many years passed, to little avail, until by miracle, Euphemia became pregnant and their son, James Potter was born. Unfortunately, it was too late in life for them to have more children.
