Chapter 5

Octavia's POV
Colson just asked me out. I don't even know what to say, its so awkward Rook had to leave the room. "So, um do you?" I hear Colson ask again. "Oh um sure." I say quickly. "Wait really?" He says in a shocked tone. "I mean we might as well, seeing as we've already slept together." I say trying to lighten the moment up. "Fuck you." Colson says nudging me and laughing "Been there done that." I say pushing him back. "Is it safe to come back in?" I hear Rook ask from his room. "Yes you can come back in." Colson tells him. "So what did we land on?" Rook says sitting next to me. "We're going out." Colson says. "But dont think you can get me to fall for you without going on an actual date." I say looking at Colson. "Good luck, this dude sucks at planning dates." Rook says. "Good ones at least." He continues. "Fuck you dude, I'm awesome at planning dates." Colson says while throwing a couch pillow at Rook, hitting him in the head. "So prove it." I say throwing the pillow back at Colson. "What the hell, you're suppose to be on my side." Colson says acting offended. "Nah Octavia and I are best friends now, sorry dude." Rook says putting his arm around my shoulder. "Yep, team Rotavia for life." I say putting my arm on his shoulder. "Maybe you two should date then." Colson says walking to the kitchen. "Sorry I'm taken." I say getting up and following him. "That's right." Colson says kissing my head and wrapping his arm around me. "Well not officially." Rook says. "Oh that's right, you stranger." I say unwrapping his arm. "What the hell is happening?" Colson asks. "You made a huge mistake, because i now have a new person to help pick on you, bitch." Rook says while pushing Colson "Double the trouble." I say as Rook and i pose using our hands as guns. "Y'all just met, how are you so in sync?" Colson asks us while handing me water. "Platonic soulmates probably." I say. As i looked up seeing the confused looks on both of the boys faces. "What are platonic soulmates.?' Rook asks. "Its like a soulmate but for friends, i don't really know how to explain it." i say then taking a drink of my water. "Oh okay, that makes sense." Colson says. "Im glad your my platonic soulmate." Rook says hugging me. "Me too Rook." I say hugging him back. "Alright im gonna go take a nap." Rook says. "Alright sleep well." I say to Rook. "So what do you wanna do today?" I ask Colson. "Well we shouldn't go out much today seeing as our faces are all over social media," Colson starts saying. "But theres a few things we can do around here. First things first we need to get some food and drinks delivered because I'm fucking starving." He continues saying. "Me too, I'm craving pizza, with pepperoni and ham." I say  jumping onto the couch next to Colson. "Sounds good, dominos?" Colson asks. "If you get pizza anywhere else i don't think we'd be able to continue dating." I say while playing with his hair. "Then its settled, dominos." Colson says. "Pizza is my favorite food, Especially from dominos." I say. "Pizza Hut fucking sucks." Colson says. "I think were soulmates." I say looking up at him. "I think we are." Colson says leaning in and kissing me.

Colson's POV
"Hey I'm going to head up to my room now." I hear Octavia says. "No wait." I say grabbing her hand and pulling her back onto my bed. After eating we went to my room and watched movies all day. It was really sweet and romantic. See Rook i can be romantic, Dumbass. "Ive been here all day, time to go to bed." Octavia says getting back up. "Just stay the nighttt." I say dragging my T. "I have to be up early to check out places for my dad, he wants to open another record store." She says while putting her shoes on. "Babyyyy." I say grabbing her and pulling her into me. "Whatttt." She says copying me. "Please spend the night. We can cuddle and talk all night." I say wrapping my arms around her. "Okay fine, but i have to wake up at 7:30 to go look at places for my dad." She says kicking her shoes off. "That's perfect I have a meeting with my manager at 9:30." I say sitting up taking my shirt off . "Do you want one of my shirts?" I ask looking at her. She's still in jeans and a crop top and I figured she wouldn't want to sleep in the clothes shes worn all day. "Oh yes please." She says while setting her alarm on her phone. "You can pick which ever one you want." I say opening my closet. "Okay, um do you mind if I shower first?" She says while grabbing a shirt. "Yeah of course, you can use whatever soaps you want." I say while putting pj pants on. "Thank you" she says and then closing the bathroom. Maybe we are soulmates. I haven't felt like this for a girl in a while.

SHIT Casie is coming over at 8 tomorrow. I don't wanna ditch Octavia but I don't think it's the right time to introduce them to each other. But I can ditch my daughter, I'll just have to explain it to Octavia. Hopefully she'll understand.
