Kingdoms Divided

Chapter 1

Five kingdoms exist in the world where there is nothing but continuous battle. Everyone wants to be the ruler, to be the one and only kingdom. There is the Northern Kingdom, the biggest, that is ruled with dignity, poise, and a king. The king's name is King Olis Asterion. He has two son's, the eldest being heir to the throne when he passes. The two boys have two different personalities with the oldest always being rebellious while the youngest sticks to the poise the kingdom's image upholds. The oldest has dark straight hair, pale olive skin, and brown eyes. He is average height and slender, but still has muscle toned. The youngest is more tan with curly dark hair, tall, and muscular. The perfect build for what everyone looks for in a ruler. He has the same eyes as his brother, but that's as far as their physical similarities go. Everyone who has not met the family assumes that he is the oldest. Favoritism in this family is obvious though, no matter what mess up comes from the oldest. The tricks, foolishness, or lack of ability to perform duties, he was said to be able to do no wrong. This might have been because of rumors that the second son was not barred from his wife as she mysteriously vanished months before his birth and was never seen again.

The Northern Kingdom all assumes she is dead or spreads tales of what could have happened to her. One being that she fled to the Kingdom of Beau where the kingdom thrives off of its land and all it provides them. It is run by a dying queen who had only a beautiful daughter who would soon gain heir to the throne. The princess's name is Jezilina Hopelane, her golden hair gets more gold in the summer, and would be almost red in the winter. Her eyes would change colors and no one could ever say what color they truly are. She is almost as beautiful as the land which is what the Kingdom of Beau is known for. They hold an enormous amount of poisons, food, species, and goods that come from the ground. The castle itself is said to have plants growing around and/or on it. The tales that were told of the Northern Kingdoms queen was that she was locked in the basement of the Kingdom of Red or she ran away to have a child who did not belong to the king. The most popular tale was that she was kidnapped by the Kingdom of Lun, they are known as the  biggest enemy of the Northern Kingdom. The Northern Kingdom calls them the 'Kingdom of Lunatics' when they are speaking of the place. It is told that they fight with no style, there is said to be no rules beyond the walls once entering the village. They lived like animals. They would kill for fun, let alone have any manners or edict. No one other than a few people of the  Northern Kingdom dared to step into their land. Other differences lay in the two kingdom's  climate with the Northern Kingdom being normally cold with occasional snow while the Kingdom of Lun is said to be warm.

The Kingdom of Lun is run by a handsome prince whose father was already lost in battle. He is said to marry and have children soon as he is an only child with both parents now dead from war. He is said to have brown hair and light brown eyes. His lips were plump with sharp eyebrows. He had a natural cold look to him, and the stance of a leader. He was broad shouldered and muscular. Nothing too extreme as he still was slender enough to have a massive amount of speed. He is highly protected and even on the battlefield uses a bow and arrows to fight because he can not put himself in immediate danger. No one even knows his name, only that his last name was Minaeian.

The Kingdom of Red is known for the most deaths of their own soldiers in the battle. They fought until the last man stood or till they remaining ones would flee from nature human instinct.  The Kingdom of Red is well known among everyone though as many speak of the amount of graves in the land. The king and queen of the kingdom have a big family that all contribute to the war effort. The oldest son, a tall strong man in his mid twenties who has now had many years of experience in battle. He has scars on his arms and face from training, battle and his father. Two daughters in their early twenties with one being desperate for battle, two twin sons around eighteen, and another two other boys with one girl both somewhere in their early teen years. Their family name is Leforce, but they were known as the Reapers. What people know of their appearance was that they wore mostly red and gray, that are their kingdom's colors. The LeForce family are known for having straight brown hair with blue or brown eyes as the mother has blue and the father has brown. They all carry a muscular build and a face always ready to look like they are ready to kill. While the other is the Kingdom of Darkness, the reason why it is called that is nothing to do with actual darkness, the kingdom itself was just a mystery. Many say it is not even real, but many on the battlefield say they fight in the shadows. No one has been to their land, or knows who their rulers are or what it is like.
