Kingdoms Divided

Chapter 15

That morning Jiban wakes up to some extra warmth around him then what he has been feeling this past week. He jumps out of bed and quickly retrieves his sword, grabbing it before pointing it towards the figure in his bed. He hears a couple groans and moans as he opens the curtain slightly to see what it is.

"I'm sorry, I got back a few hours ago, and didn't want to wake you up, so I just thought I would join you." Lennox sits up in the bed and Jiban quickly drops his sword, jumping back into the bed, getting on top of him. He kisses him with everything in him and Lennox obviously kisses back.

"Never leave me again. Please.. That's selfish to say, but-" Jiban begins, but Lennox stops him with another kiss. "No need to explain. I felt distracted the whole time thinking of you." Lennox says, starting to kiss him again, before trying to take off Jiban's shirt.

They continue to kiss and quickly remove one another's clothes. They haven't been intimate like this for awhile now, so it feels like a need to be able to be so close to the other again. Lennox makes his way on top of Jiban before he takes his time, not wanting the moment to go by too quickly. Jiban wraps himself around Lennox, untangling his fingers in his hair. Even though Jiban didn't have it hit him as hard as he stayed distracted, he missed Lennox greatly. Lennox clearly missed him a lot too as they cannot separate their bodies from one another unless it is a moment for air.

They lay with one another afterwards, quietly, drifting in and out of sleep as it is still early in the morning. Enjoying the simple peace in the moment that they are currently sharing. Lennox is fully asleep again at one point and Jiban cannot help but to just enjoy the man's face at peace. He moves a strand of hair out of his face and softly caresses the king's back as he moves closer into his chest. Lennox soon wakes after Jibans movement, pulling him in closer with some grunts. Jiban is enjoying the moment, but Jiban remembers why Lennox went away.

"So what happened? Did you find the culprit?" Jiban finally asks, wondering how someone made it into the kingdom. Lennox groans, pulling away to look at Jiban, "Can we have a few more moments of this?" Lennox kisses the top of the younger boy's head.

"We can have more of this whenever you're done, but I would like to know how it went." Jiban replies and Lennox reluctantly begins to tell him that it was a village who shared about how you can sneak in through the forest. If they could make it past all the animals that live within the forest then they can get to us. "That makes sense of why there weren't too many of them once they made it on, but how did they get the poison into the wine?"

"Do you remember Shiva Humbert?" Lennox sighs, "Apparently the Kingdom of Red had promised her something, but I'll have to figure that out later. When we tried to look for her when we got back, she was gone."  Lennox explains and Jiban wants to make a comment, but before he can Lennox looks over to the bedside table, seeing the opened letter. "You read the letter?" Jiban is about to explain how he hasn't finished it yet, but Lennox eagerly asks a question. "So, what's your answer?" Jiban reaches over to read the rest of the letter. "You don't remember what it says or.... you haven't read it yet?" Lennox looks sad, but Jiban kisses his cheek, the letter now in his hand.

"I was trying to make it last. You realize how long you were gone last time? If I read this too soon, I would have nothing till I saw you again." Jiban explains and begins to read the letter.

Though one takes place far in the future and the other is more of a current thing, I'm hoping that you say yes to both. I love you Jiban, keep the kingdom safe while I'm gone. I'll be home soon. P.S. I know I'm not the best artist.

Jiban turns the page and sees a drawing of him and Lennox on top of a mountain. He looks at Lennox who is basically bright red, he hadn't planned on Jiban reading this in front of him. He turns to the last page that only has a few words on it.
