Chapter 9

Azula, iluka and ty lee continue their journey to omashu city to meet mai at the omashu city

The guards carry the palanquin up the stairs and put it down on the floor then azula and iluka walk out from the palanquin

Mai bow "please tell me you're here to kill me" she said they they both laugh "it's great to see you mai" azula said ty lee run to mai and hug "I thought you ran off to the circus you said it was your calling" mai said "I know but azula needs my help" they both look at azula that right now she tell iluka that she doesn't have to carry their luggages "what is happening between those two" mai whisper to ty lee "she's changing and I know because her aura is different now" ty lee said "what's the reason" mai ask "her" ty lee look at iluka "she change her" ty lee said

Iluka walk to mai and hug her while azula look at them with jealousy 'calm down they're just friends' azula thought "sorry that I don't greet you earlier" iluka said "it's okay I don't care" mai said "I have a mission and I need you both" azula said

"Count me in anything to get me out of this place" mai said

Then a guard show both azula and iluka room "here is your room princess" the guard said "thanks you can go now" azula said the guard leave and they both enter the room "it's pretty nice" azula said looking every side of the room and she see that the bed is only for one person "I think they don't know that we will sleep in the same room but don't worry I will tell them to get another bed" iluka said she turn around to tell the guard

Azula quickly grab her wrist and press her front to iluka back "no don't do it" azula whisper to iluka ear "but it only have one bed" iluka reply "I know but I want to hold you close tonight" azula said iluka giggle "you know you sure are very clingy" iluka said "well I am your future wife so what's wrong about that" azula said iluka turn around "I know I like it" iluka flash a smile towards azula "everyday you make me fall for you harder" azula kiss iluka passionately and iluka moan to kiss but then a guard knock on the door "what" azula groan "the governor is here princess" the guard said "very well" azula said she look at iluka "let's go they are waiting" azula said and iluka  nod her head

Azula is sitting on a chair like throne with iluka standing beside her "I apologize. You've come to omashu at a difficult time at noon we're making a trade with the resistance to get Tom-Tom back" mai father said "yes I am so sorry about your son but about the citizens leaving the city" azula said mai's father and mother bow their head "forgive me princess" mai father beg "no need I forgive you for your...mistake" azula said looking at iluka for approval and iluka show her beautiful smile to azula and she smirk proudly of her achievement  "I'm an awesome girlfriend" azula said to herself

"See what I said" ty lee whisper to mai "I don't hundred percent believe she is change" mai said "well we'll see" ty lee said "you wait here while we handle the hostage trade" azula said

They climb the stairs of the and see a girl and two guys with one of them with the ponytail holding Tom-Tom then a crane lower bumi while he's laughing "hi everybody" he said then he been put behind mai "you brought my brother" she ask them "he's here and we ready to trade" a boy with scarf on his head said mai side look at azula to see if she has twisted plan "wait mai" azula said mai close her eyes and wait for the worst

"Do you promise us that you will give us Tom-Tom if we give back the king" azula ask "we promise" the boy said azula nod head and the boy walk forward to give Tom-Tom back to her sister mai look at azula in disbelief "azula are you sure you gonna let the resistance get the king back" ty lee ask "no after he give Tom-Tom back I will quickly attack him and be ready for anything" azula said "thank you azula" mai said she look at her and nod her head "azula" iluka said "don't worry I won't let then hurt you" azula said to iluka "I know" then the boy is near and he give back the baby to mai and she take it

"Now the king" he said azula smile "I'm sorry, but a thought just occurred to me do you mind" azula said "of course not, princess azula" mai said "we were thankful that you return mai's brother to her but you are the resistance and you are against the fire nation don't you think so mai" azula said "you're right the deal's off" mai lift her hand up and the crane bring the king up "woah! See you all later" he laugh "bumi" the boy yell then azula send fire towards him but he jumped into the air then his scarf fell out

"The avatar" azula said "he's truly back" iluka said she look at azula and see her hesitate "go I'll be okay" iluka said azula turn head and kiss iluka while the ty lee run to attack katara and sokka while mai hug her brother "go and wait at the room" azula said "but-" azula cut off iluka mid sentence "no you'll get hurt go now" then azula start to chase aang iluka groan "I know how to fight" she yell but she just turn around and quickly go back to her room

Katara and sokka try to run away but ty lee punch his leg making he stumble katara bend the water to whip the floor and make the floor block the kunai that been thrown by mai then she throw the floor to mai and bend the water to hold ty lee leg and pull her away from sokka giving sokka a chance to escape

"Aang stop your blowing for a second" then suddenly azula appear from the floor and shoot fire towards them but aang quickly hit the frozen chain making both of them fall but aang slow their fall by air bend and they slide through the slid azula growl and continue to chase them

Aang laugh "it's just like old times isn't it  bumi" he said "aang I need to talk to you" bumi said *it's good to see you too" aang said then azula arrive at a different slide and shoot fire towards aang but he block all the attacks then the slide combine leaving azula on their tail

Aang shoot air towards her but she block it then she repeatedly shoot fire towards aang but he dodge all of it then he slice the pillas making to block azula's way and he sigh in relief that azula is not on the cart anymore but azula jump out from the cart making aang scream in surprise the she shoot fire towards him but he quickly lay down to avoid it

Katara carefully attack mai so that she doesn't accidentally attack the baby then katara bend the water to ma and freeze her hand "stop" katara said ty lee climb the pillar and run to katara and attack her nerve she try to bend but fail to do so "how are you gonna fight without your bending" mai is about to throw her kunai at katara but a boomerang hit her hand making she drop the kunai

They look up and see sokka riding appa "I seem to manage" he said appa land in front of them and slam his tail making mai and ty lee flying backwards then they both fly away to find aang

Azula repeatedly attacking him but he dodge all of it then he fall down but azula still chasing him then she shoot fire towards aang but bumi earthbend using his face making azula's cart hit the rock and she lose the avatar "next time avatar" azula said

"So, we're tracking down your brother and uncle, huh" mai said "it'll be interesting to see zuko again won't it mai" ty lee said making mai smile "it's not just zuko and iroh anymore we have a thrid target now" azula said "the avatar" mai said azula turn around "you can bring your brother back to your parents now and rest because tomorrow we will find them all" azula said "very well azula" ty lee and mai bow their head

Azula goes back to her room and see iluka reading a book then she look up and see azula she gasp and run towards her and hug her "I'm so worried about you" iluka said "you know I'm strong right" azula smirk "I know I just worried about my girlfriend" iluka said blushing azula cup her face and kiss her passionately "don't worry I'm here" azula said iluka examine her face and see few scratch "you're hurt" iluka said "don't worry it's just a scratch" azula said

Iluka grab her wrist and force her to sit on the bed "let me treat you" iluka said she treat azula wound "I own you" azula said iluka look at her and smile "I love you too" then they share a passionate kiss
