ou didn’t seem to notice toms presence and when he spoke it startled you so much you jumped, causing pansy to stop mid sentence “don’t sneak up on people, are you trying to give me a heart attack" you say causing tom to smirk “Well no, not yet anyway “ he smirked but you weren’t sure if he was joking or not “I just wanted to know if you needed help in potions, you seem further behind than usual” you stared at Tom for a moment, it was true you had been slacking on potions but that was more to spite slug horn, but you couldn’t waste such a golden opportunity to learn more from tom so you shook your head while tom smiled and stood up to leave “ok library at six?” you nod once more and tom was gone.
Pansy looked at you and stared for a solid ten minutes before she started talking again “so what’s going on between you and riddle, I know every girl wants him but I thought you hated him” pansy said while reading the daily profit “Well I am trying to be friendly with him after all slug horn wants us to get together” this caused pansy to squeal “no way, and tom agreed?” you nodded as pansy began to fuss over you, you realized it was probably better if you hadn’t told her, as she wouldn’t stop asking you pointless questions until it was time to meet with tom.
You say your good byes to pansy and head off towards the library.
“Your late!” Tom said while putting his book down “sorry pansy wouldn’t stop talking, you know how she is" you say while taking a seat opposite Tom causing him to stare at you “I’ve summoned you here to ask you something" tom said while smirking “and that is?” Tom gave you a stern look “do not interrupt me, as I was saying I’ve come to find, your not the person you seem to be." Tom was staring into your very soul, seeing any form of change on your face, he huffed once he saw you had a good hold of your emotions, “what makes you say that?” you say while leaning closer to him, causing him to back away, “your fathers death was no accident.” Tom said with a smirk causing your mask to slip just a bit for tom to notice, surprise “he was a drunk, there was nothing I could have done” you smile and looked around , tom noticed this and used a silencing charm around them, “you murdered a whole school" Tom’s eyes shined with pride and admiration as if he looking up to you but after a moment he was back to his stoic stature, “what makes you think I was even near any of those incidents” you say with your arms crossed and looking at Tom with a cross look as if he’d just stolen your pencil, not uncovered your murder history “ I am a skilled Legilimency,  I can find any information I need" this caused you to look at Tom as if trying to figure out if he was being truthful or not “so what if I did those things its in the past" you say but once you saw the light in Tom’s eyes you knew you’d messed up “exactly, such a young age and murdering people, being able to use the killing curse without a care or practice, you must be  destined for this" Tom had now gotten up and rounded on you causing you to look away from him “Dumbledore took away my ability, he said if I used it again it would instead kill me" you say with a huff causing tom to look enraged “Dumbledore has been a thorn in my side, if I could kill him, it would get rid of your curse and he wouldn’t be breathing down my neck all the time" you look at Tom, but he seemed to be walking in a circle deciding on what to do, so you pick up one of the books Tom was reading before you arrived at the table, “dark arts, hum" you say while flicking through the pages and land on a potion that would kill without a trace, “how about this?” you say to Tom and he finally stopped pacing.
“What is it, what have you found?” Tom said almost jumping on you “death potion, it is said that the potion it self is highly corrosive and will burn through the person and even the chair they are sitting on “ you say while showing Tom the ingredients to brew such a potion, he looked at it and then stared at you “Well, Hogwarts have all the ingredients but one" you look at Tom and wonder what the hidden ingredient was as Hogwarts was no stranger to weird ingredients, they had everything ranging from troll toe to unicorn blood and even pixie dust, “what is it?” you say after it was clear Tom wasn’t going to continue, he looked away and then handed you the book to read for your self “a human heart? ” Tom nodded “how would anyone get a human heart?” Tom stared at you and then motioned for you to follow him “where are we going?” Tom was leading you towards a girls bathroom “you can’t go in there" you say flabbergasted, Tom ignored you and you hurried after him, you noticed the bathroom was eerily quiet, you were thankful no one was there as tom and you in a bathroom together would cause more pain than it was worth.
