Chapter 26

"He's nicer than I thought he'd be," Yoongi says laughing. "Yeah. You'd think after I yelled at his mate he'd be rude"
Yoongi hums and rubs his stomach. "What's wrong?" Namjoon asks, looking at Yoongis hand. "I'm craving...something sweet"
"How about we get some ice cream? There's a stand there" Namjoon says pointing at a stand. Yoongi beams and Namjoon takes that as they should get ice cream. 

"Hi there what can I get for you!" A woman says with a cheerful voice. "One mint chocolate please," Yoongi says before looking over to Namjoon. "Make that 2 mint chocolates" He smiles. "Please wait for a moment" And these off  "You like mint chocolate?" Yoongi asks in disbelief. "I do. It's been my favorite for years"

"Here you go, have a nice day!" The lady says handing their ice-creams and they continue walking. Yoongi hums as he eats his ice cream.  "Sweet lord this tastes better than usual" Yoongi moans out. Namjoon coughs before he looks at Yoongi, who has a brow raised at him with a knowing look. "Perv"
"Not my fault you're moaning while sucking on your ice cream!"
"If you don't behave ill suck your ice cream"
"That's a threat?"
"It is when you also have mint chocolate"
"Oh you mean ice-cream ice-cream"

"You're done," Yoongi says eating the last bit of his ice cream before he's swiping Namjoons out of his hand. "Hey!-"
"You lost your ice cream privileges," Yoongi says cheekily, biting Namjoons ice cream. He contorted his face before handing it back to Namjoon. "Oh now I can have it back"
"I don't like it," Yoongi says gagging.
"But you just had the same-"
"It's his fault," Yoongi says pointing at his stomach. "Don't blame her" Namjoon laughs.

"Shush. It's their fault. I don't like it anymore. You can have your ice cream back" Yoongi huffs. Namjoon looks at him lovingly "My parents are gonna love you"

Shortly after they arrive at Jin's apartment, hearing laughing from inside. "Do I look fine?" Yoongi says ruffling his hair and pulling his clothes straight. "You look fine Hyung" Namjoon smiles. "I shouldn't have asked you. I could be wearing a plastic bag and you'd still say I look good"
"True"

Yoongi takes a deep breath before Namjoon is opening the door "We're here" He calls out and shuts the door. They quickly take their shoes off. They make their way into the living room and Yoongi sees Taehyung and Jin along with a man and woman in their 60s. "Namjoon honey it's been a while," The woman says Hughing her son. "Hi, mom. Hi dad" Namjoon says smiling. "And who is this lovely thing," The woman says smiling sweetly at Yoongi "Hello aunty, Hello uncle My name is Min Yoongi," Yoongi says anxiously, bowing at a 90-degree angle. "Oh son there's no need for the formalities" Namjoons dad says standing up and Hugging him.

"Please just call us mom and dad. You are family now" Yoongi blinks and smiles, the anxiety he was feeling was fading out of his body. "Please! have a seat and have drinks with us! I'd love to get to know you more" mom says ushering them to sit down. "Hello Tae, Jin-hyung" Yoongi smiles. "Hi, hyunggg" Taehyung chimes.

"So tell me about yourself, dear! How did you two meet?"
"Uhh well I'm a producer at Hybe entertainment and we met during a collaboration," Yoongi says nervously chucking. "I see and you're an omega yes?"
"I'm an alpha actually"
Namjoons mom was taken aback. "Oh, dear. I'm sorry for assuming" she apologized. Yoongi quickly shakes his head "No no it's fine! I get it a lot. I don't look like an alpha so I'm often mistaken for an omega"
"And how old are you? Do you have any siblings?" Namjoons dad asks.
"I'm 28 and Taehyung is actually my half brother"

Namjoons mother gasps "What a small world we live in! And how long have you two been together? I mean Namjoon hasn't told us much."
"A month and two weeks" Yoongi smiles.
"I hope my Namjoonie is treating you right"
Seokjin laughs "oh he's been treating Yoongi right alright. Just ask your grandbaby"
"Hyung!" Namjoon growls.
"Grandbaby? Yoongi dear are you..." she trails off.
"They said it's not common but it does happen. I'm a month pregnant"

Namjoons father cheers "I told you! Congratulations son. Fatherhood is a blessing"
Namjoons mom engulfs Yoongi in another hug "Congratulations Yoongi. I'm so happy for both of you. If you have any questions at all, You and Taehyung can come swing by my house and ask whenever" She smiles.
"Thanks, mom" Yoongi smiles.

This was what real parents looked like. He missed out on so much when he was younger but now, Namjoons parents were making up for the time he had lost with his parents.
"Hyung? You okay?" Namjoon asks concerned.
Yoongi swallows the lump in his throat and smiles brightly "I'm more than okay Joon"

"Hyung you should've seen what Jinnie did on our way home!" Taehyung snorts, Slapping his knee
"Yah you said you weren't gonna tell them!" Jin says blushing red.
"He-" Taehyung burst out laughing. He takes a moment before composing himself
"On our way in, he walked into the glass door at the front and-" Taehyung giggles before he's composing himself "And then stated the door was never there before!" Taehyung snorts.

Yoongi laughs "sounds about right"
"Yah! No fair! They're ganging up on me. Namjoon help me!"
Namjoon laughs "Sorry hyung. You're on your own"
"Oh, the betrayal!"

The rest of the evening was spent laughing, and a little crying since Yoongi opened up about his childhood. But it was a great night for all of them.

Yoongi and Namjoon were now on their way home, happily holding hands. "Your mom is so nice" Yoongi gushes "You're a lot like your dad. He's so funny too" Yoongi chuckles "Yeah? I'm glad you enjoyed yourself baby."
Yoongi hums and opens the door, stepping inside. He stops and looks around. "If we're going to bring a pup into this world...we're gonna need a bigger house"

Namjoon nods "Yeah. I'll talk to my dad. He owns a bunch of places he doesn't use. I could ask for a small 3 bedroom house" Yoongi smiles "That would be great. Let's go to bed. I'm tired" He yawns and Namjoon picks him up, carrying him to their shared bedroom. "My knight in shining armor" Yoongi chuckles, squeezing Namjoons peck. "My beautiful princess" He snickers. Yoongi blushes "I'm not beautiful. If anything I'm handsome"

Namjoon nods "That too"
Namjoon pulls Yoongis pants and sweater off, leaving him in his boxers before he does the same. He lays Yoongi down and Hovers above him, peppering kisses all over his face making Yoongi giggle. "Stoooop" He whines out. "Never~" Namjoon giggles, kissing him softly before he lays down next to Yoongi, spooning him from behind as his hand rests on Yoongis stomach. "I love you," Namjoon says, kissing the back of his neck. "I love you too"
