First form: Shadow of the First Lantern (Ichi No Kata: Saisho no rantan no kage)
A technique used to open a fight. The user pulls out their weapon, then sheathes it quickly. The shadow of the blade creates a small shadow that wraps the target in a lantern-like shadow structure. Then, A user can use their blade to swiftly behead or damage the target.

Second form: Formless Shadow (Ni no kata:Katachi no nai kage)
The user has to get within a set distance of the target without being noticed, the distance capable of changing depending on the users own skill and trains with this technique. Once in range the user makes use of the breathing technique to close the distance rapidly, near instantly once mastered, and cut the demons head off before the demon understands what has happened, the user also emanates a sense of no hatred, no anger, no animosity, no fighting spirit, or any bloodlust.

Third form: Shadow of the Passing Shinigami (San no kata: Tōrisugari no shinigami no kage)
The user dashes towards their opponent with their weapon outstretched, at a speed that looks as if they had phased through their opponent. Though when the user comes to a halt and looks back at their opponent. The enemy takes notice that the slayer had been moving faster than they appeared, slashing them into multiple pieces.

Fourth Form: Dark Paths Converging (Shi no kata: Dākupasu no shūsoku)
An iaijutsu technique, the user sheathes their sword and only draws it when the enemy enters their range of attack. The purpose is to slash at such speed that the blade leaves an afterimage that confuses the enemy and catches them off guard. The user can also use it by directly running towards the opponent and attacking.

Fifth Form: Astral Graveyard (Go no kata: Asutoraru bochi)
The user closes their eyes and opens their eyes again. When the user opens their eyes again, they can see the shadows of everyone in a 3 mile radius, even if they are concealed. When they look at the shadows, They can also tell if the shadow is a demon or a human.

Sixth form: Lunar Wind (Roku no kata: Tsuki no kaze)

The user stabs a wakizashi into the ground and the shadow spreads, locking any enemies within the perimeter of 50 meters in place, this form also allows the user to

Tenth Form: Flickering Shadow (Jū no kata: Chiratsuku kage)
The user disappears, then their body flickers behind the target and decapitates the target, with their condensed speed increasing once they disappear.

Eleventh Form: Shaded Oblique (Jū Ichi no kata: Kage-tsuki naname) The user holds up their wakizashi, draws it back, and focuses all their strength into their arm. The user then thrusts their sword forward towards their target launching a piercing blast of compressed air.

Twelth Form: Midnight Lunar Wind (Jū Ni No Kata: Mayonakanotsuki no kaze)
The user slashes in a horizontal arc, channeling focused shadow energy into their blade, then slashes their sword at high speeds creating an intense burst of wind, that can easily push back enemies while slashing them with sharp winds.
