Nobody's POV-
Ayano wondered if keeping Budo alive and roaming free knowing about her true nature, was a good decision or not. What did bother her more though, was how easily he was able to tackle her. It would be difficult to kill him if he ever came in her way.
'I guess martial arts isn't an option anymore.."
She decided she'd join the sports club to increase her strength instead.
Ayano sat on her bed, thinking about her next course of action.
"Well, school's canceled for today, and I don't have any new rivals.." Ayano whispered to herself.
She sighed, still thinking about the time she tried to talk to Taro.
-Flashback-
"H-hey! What's wrong, why are you dryi- I-I mean crying?" Ayano asked, nervously, in hopes of comforting the boy.
Taro paused for a bit, wondering where he had seen this girl before, then recalled bumping into her on the first day of school.
He wasn't in the mood of speaking, but didn't want to seem rude so he tried to avoid the discussion.
"Oh it's nothing. Actually there are flowers here and I'm allergic to pollen, so it's just a reaction. Don't worry about it."
-Flashback Ends-
Ayano wondered what could've happened if that conversation had gone differently. She knew that no matter how many people she got rid of, ultimately the only way to get to his heart was to get closer to him.
But now that school was closed, it seemed near impossible to even talk to him. How would she get closer to him if she isn't able to see him everyday?
Just then, Ayano remembered that Budo and Taro seemed to be close friends.
'Hm...'
Budo's POV
I laid down on my bed, trying to forget about what happened yesterday. But the events came running through my mind again and again.
'I could've died...'
The thought sent shivers down my spine. When she picked up the knife and came closer to me, I thought I would be dead meat.
I wonder why she didn't kill me at that moment, when she clearly had the chance.
I sighed, still remembering the way she talked about him with so much affection and desire. It definitely.... hurt, to say the least.
'What does she see in him anyways? It's not like there's anything he has that I don't, well, maybe good grades, but other than that I'm better than him in almost every asp-'
'Wait, what am I doing? Why am I jealous? I don't think of her in that way anymore, right?'
I became frustrated with myself.
I knew I was lying to myself when I said I didn't like her anymore, because honestly, I still think about her.
Even though she could've killed me the other day, I couldn't help but think about how close she came to me. The way she whispered in my ear, the way I pinned her to the cabinet, the way she-
'No, I have to stop. What's wrong with me? Am I forgetting the fact that she tried to kill me?'
I groaned in frustration, banging a book against my head.
I took a deep breath in and out,
'I should get back to studying physics.'
I opened my textbook and got a highlighter in my hand.
"Ok, so, when a charged body is put in contact with an uncharged body-"
*phone buzzes*
I looked at the phone to see who it was, and to my surprise, it was Ayano.
"Why would she text me all of a sudden?"
I instantly turned on my phone and checked her message.
(Ayano- A, Budo- B)
A: I need your help.
B: I thought we weren't gonna cross paths anymore.
A: After this, we won't.
My face frowned at the sight of the message. I was just being playful, did she assume I actually don't want to cross paths with her?
B: Alr, what is it?
A: You're friends with Taro-Senpai right?
I sighed, sort of knowing where this would go.
B: We're not as close as we used to be, but I guess u could say that
A: Look, I know you don't like the idea of me using less 'normal' methods of going after a guy,
B: Precisely.
A: So maybe if you helped set me up with him I wouldn't have to resort to such things.
B: I have no idea how to matchmake two people, Ayano
B: Besides, why should I help you after what happened?
A: Come onn..😔
A slight smile appeared on my face, for some reason I imagined her making a cute pouting face while saying that.
B: I'm being fr
A: If you don't want me to cause anymore trouble, this is the only option.
I gulped, seeing her tone change back to serious. I had no choice but to agree at this point, even though the thought of setting her up with another guy hurt more than anything.
B: Fine, I'll help, as long as you keep that promise.
A: Deal.
A: I'll meet you in the martial arts club after the first class tomorrow, don't forget.

Aya-Chan♥♥ has gone offline.
Andd there she goes. I sighed, scrolling through our texts again.
I guess I have to find ways to get them to talk to each other. This is gonna hurt, isn't it?
