Incheon International Airport was so crowded that afternoon. Many reporters and their crew with cameras rolled on were waiting at the international arrival gate.

Actually it was not odd to find reporters gathered to report some artist or idol's arrival at Incheon. What's odd was, they were there not to wait for a celebrity or idol, but a heiress of one of the Chaebol family in Korea, Kim Luna.

When the gate opened, all the cameras stuttered and flashed wildly. Few men and security of Incheon International Airport walked out from the gate and formed a human wall to secured the VIP who just walked out from the gate and walked straight to the car that waited for her.

Luna squeezed her own hands as the car she was in was getting closer to their destination. She was lost in her own mind. She looked outside. Seoul felt so strange to her. Ten years passed, and everything had already changed.

“Are you alright, Miss?”

Luna turned to a woman who sat beside her, Park Chaeyoung, the woman that would be her personal assistant from then on. Luna knew who she was. Park Chaeyoung was the daughter of Park Seho Ahjusshi, her father’s private secretary. She and Chaeyeong used to meet when they were much younger.

“Ne. Seoul just feels so strange to me!” Luna sighed, and then looked outside again as she reached for a liontin in her chest and held it tightly.

Chaeyoung looked at her with glassy eyes. Somehow she could feel what Luna felt at that moment. She wanted to grab Luna’s hand and squeezed it to gave her some strength or at least tell her that she was there for Luna, but she didn’t dare to do so. Kim Luna, who she knew and used to meet more than ten years ago, was her friend, but this Luna might be different, Chaeyoung wasn't sure.

“We are here, Miss.” Chaeyoung said as their car turned and entered the lobby of a big building.

The district sounds from many machines that supported his life made Kim Minki realize that his time would come really soon.

At that moment, he finally knew that nothing would help him to escape. His wealth and power were useless.

He closed his eyes slowly and asked one last prayer to God. The only one hope before he closed his eyes forever. Kim Minki just wanted to meet his only daughter, Kim Luna, for the last time.

The beep of the monitor beside Kim Minki sounded weaker and weaker as the electrocardiogram showed an almost straight line. But that weak man still fought to take one more breath after another, waiting and hoping his last hope to be granted.

The door of the VIP room suddenly opened. Someone entered the room. Walked closer to Kim Minki’s bed. Then held his weak hand.

Kim Minki opened his eyes. “Ma Chérie.” his voice was so weak and nearly inaudible even though he already used all the energy left in him.

“Appa, I’m here, Appa. Luna is home.” Luna held her father's  hand tightly. That hand used to feel firm in Luna’s memory, but at that moment, the hand she held was so weak and so skinny.

Kim Minki’s another hand moved, wanted to touch Luna, but he was to weak and that hand trembled. Luna grabbed the hand and placed it to her cheek, letting her father touch her.

“Ma Chérie, I’m happy you are finally coming home before I go. My daughter, Luna, I’m sorry for everything.”

Luna squeezed her father’s hand that was still on her cheek. “Don’t say that, Appa. You better rest. I’ll stay here with you.”
