Chapter 13 - Extra Part - Planning A New Business

Chapter 13 - Extra Part - Planning A New Business

Antares closed Grace's bedroom's door slowly. He just finished reading Grace's bedtime story, as he usually did to put her to sleep.

Antares walked to the main bedroom but he couldn't find Luna there. He was sure she wasn't in Eden's bedroom as he watched the monitor that showed him Eden was sleeping peacefully in his own company.

Antares walked out of the room. His pace brought him straight to their dining area and Luna wasn't there as well. His gaze scanned the area that also connected with the kitchen.

"Is she in her new study room?" He muttered to his own before turning himself and walked to the direction of the balcony in their penthouse.

Right there, a few meters before he reached the connecting door to the balcony, Antares could see that the door of a room slightly opened. Luna's new study.

Antares peeked his head into the slightly opened door. That was a new additional room in their penthouse. A few weeks earlier Luna told him that she was going to renovate their penthouse to make her new study room since she didn't have one.

"I think I miss working and I need my own study room to do my things." she told him.

"Keurae. You can do it of course. I'll ask my staff to find a trusted contractor or interior designer that will help you with the renovation."

"Yes, that would be nice and helpful. Thank you, Darling."

And about two weeks after that conversation, Luna indeed supervised the renovation in their penthouse to build her new study room herself. Antares wasn't included in the process at all. He didn't know what kind of room she wanted to build, because during the renovation process he was so busy with work and whenever he came home, Luna made sure that the construction staff had already left their house, they only work a few hours a day when the kids weren't home because Luna didn't want the sound of the reconstruction to make their kids uncomfortable.

Antares saw Luna was there, sitting on her desk and writing something on a paper.

Tok tok

He knocked the door gently and Luna lifted her head.

She smiled as soon as their eyes met and said, "Come in."

Antares opened the door wider and entered the room. That was actually his first time entering Luna's study since the room was fully finished and she used the room. During the renovation process earlier, he had entered the room a few times to take a look, but everything was still messy and the interior wasn't ready yet.
