Getting Caught

The day went by very quickly
And I was getting the journal to give it to Malfoy.

He didn't talk to me for the whole day, which isn't exactly the best start to our new " friendship " but I knew this wouldn't be easy, I just thought he'd try a little harder considering it was his idea.

I went into my dorm and got the journal and then headed to the Astronomy tower
While I was walking out i passed Hermione, Ginny and Luna.

They've always been nice to me, especially Luna and Hermione, Ginny and me aren't that close, probably because she's a year below the rest of us, I rarely see her.

" hey girls " I say waving to them

" hi Isobel, how have you been ?" Hermione asks coming over to give me a hug.

" I've bee-" I'm interrupted by Malfoy

" well, well what do we have here? Marshall why are you talking to this mudblood?" He says coming from behind the girls

" don't call her that " I say crossing my arms looking up at him

" why should I ? It's true "

" because it's rude and blood status doesn't mean a thing to me and it shouldn't to you either "

"Isobel it's fine, we should get going anyway, il see you tomorrow " Hermione says before she leaves, Ginny and Luna following after her.

" oh ok by-" she's gone before I can say goodbye

I look over at Malfoy who has an small smirk on his face " thanks a lot " I say walking past him, making sure to hit his shoulder.

"Oh come on Marshall you can't seriously be mad at me ? You know how much I hate her "

I stop in my tracks before turning back around to look at him " you could've just stayed quiet, you didn't have to say what you said "

" ok well I did, and I'm not sorry "

" of course you're not "

" you don't have to say it like that "

" why not ? It's true " I say in a deep voice mocking him again.

" stop doing that " he says with a slight change in his voice, he sounds more angry.

He's so easily angered it's hilarious

" doing what ?" I say sounding dumb, angering him more

" mocking me "

" I don't know what your talking about "

He starts walking up towards me until my back hits the wall " Marshall, I'm not joking, quit it "

" or what ? You'll hex me? You've been threatening me with that for years, you've never done it "

I've done it now

He's very close to me " don't tempt me Isobel, you know I will "

He's never said my name before, so that took me by surprise.

" a that a threat Draco ? I think we both know I could easily kick your ass in a fight ".

That took him by surprise, I could tell by the slight shift in his face.

One thing we have in common is that we are both very stubborn, we never back down until the other dose first.

" Marshall I-" we were interrupted by a loud voice " what are you two doing ?"
