Dustin angrily paced back and forth, tryign to think of more people he can ask to be the replacement for Lucas for their campaign. He thought and thouht, until he thought of one person. He doubted he would say yes, but he wanted to give it a try anyway. He rang the family video.
"Just move your date this one time! Come on."
"What, to hang out with you and Eddie "The Freak" Munson? Uh, yeah, I'll pass."
"You're just jealous cause I have another older male friend."
"Ew, ugh, whatever. (That's not the only reason. -he whispers under his breath-)
"Besides I mean, I really dig this girl, I think that she could... who knows, she could be the one."
"Oh, I got some costumers, call you back, bye."
"No you can't call me back I'm at— -line disconnects- school."
He holds his middle fingers up, walking away. But still pondering about what Steve said under his breath... I'll ask him later.
11:30 AM Saturday
Dustin woke up from a long slumber, it's a weekend so he doesn't have to worry about sleeping in. He checks the time, perfect. He was planning on hanging out with Steve today, to talk.. and maybe ask about what he had said under his breath. He didn't bother showering, cause I mean, who does on weekends? we don't have to go to school. He sprinted outside, getting on his bike and biking to Steve's house.
