Yejin stood there, trying to control herself. Trying not to cry. Her heart was weighing heavy, creating a ship that was sinking inside of her. She wanted to desperately not be weak in front of him but it was proving difficult... She loved him yet here he was, throwing away everything.

"I'm breaking up with you, Yejin," Mingi said nonchalantly.

"Why?" Yejin asked, shooting a glare towards Suji.

"I don't love you. I never did." He lied. The liquor had numbed him down to the point where his heart couldn't even be felt.

"So you used me for my virginity and then decided that you wanted nothing to do with me? Is that what it is?" Yejin argues, not caring anymore about trying not to cry. By this point, she was filled purely with rage now. Her heart was beating rapidly, her skin burning up. Angry couldn't even describe what she felt.

"No," Mingi answered. "It's because you were just a bet."

"A bet-" Yejin clenched her teeth together. She raised her glass from the table and hurled its contents at him, then set it back down.

"That was a bit dramatic," Mingi commented.

"Dramatic-" she laughed in disbelief before her expression morphed into a serious one. "I'll show you dramatic." She then slapped him, creating a prominent red hand mark upon his cheek.

"I hate you," Yejin muttered, reaching down to retrieve her handbag, only for her to accidentally knock over a glass. She hissed as it shocked her but continued to grab her bag and walk away, out of the bar.

Disregarding all the stares, she continued to maintain her ice-cold glare, not wanting to appear vulnerable or weak in front of anyone. Especially not Bae Suji, whose piercing eyes remained on her, filled with amusement until she had finally exited.

"I have to admit, she's quite strong but who does she think she is? Breaking glasses and throwing fists at our poor Mingi." Suji tutted, a small smirk playing upon her lips. "Don't you agree, Mingi?

Mingi merely stood up and dragged himself over to the bar, not even bothering to acknowledge Suji or the red wine stain that now occupied his formerly white shirt.

"Don't frown Suji, it gives you wrinkles," Seonghwa remarked, earning a death stare from Suji.

"Kiss my ass-" Suji scoffed, getting up to follow after Mingi.

"Gladly." Seonghwa added, smiling to himself as Suji muttered 'Shut up' heading over to Mingi.

Seonghwa got up, watching as Suji hobbled over with her arm wrapped around a drunken Mingi. "I'm gonna take Mingi home. Make sure you get home in one piece. Mingi's not the only one that drank a lot tonight." Her eyes panned over to the table where they were sitting previously and the dozen whiskey glasses which littered it.

"Goodnight Suji." He mumbled, watching as the two walked away. "One-sided loves are the worst." Picking up his jacket from the back of the chair, he exited the bar too. "Poor me." Seonghwa scoffed, kicking a pebble as he walked down the lonely street. "Poor me..."

Meanwhile... Suji and Mingi sat in silence the whole ride back to his apartment, his eyes watering as his thoughts were stolen away and replaced by visions of Yejin. Her broken expression, the tears rolling down her cheeks as she shouted at him.

"Why are you so sad? It's not like you really were in love with her right?" Suji asked, giving a nervous laugh. "You're joking right?"

"She made me happy-" Mingi murmured, finding himself being grasped by sleep.

Suji pulled over the car, looking over to find he was now asleep. She looked ahead, gripping tightly onto the steering wheel as she watched Yejin exiting the shop beside Mingi's apartment block.

Yejin glanced up at the building and then at the entrance, the memory of them walking through the door holding hands as they smiled happily, joking about the earlier events, flashed through her mind. She couldn't bear to be in the same building, just knowing his apartment was just opposite hers. Yejin pulled out her phone, opting to call her best friend to see if she could stay there.

On her way down the street, she unknowingly passed a familiar navy blue sports car that belonged to the one and only Bae Suji.
