Outside his door stood Suji. She had waited for Mingi to walk back inside his apartment before coming out from the stairway. Her eyes were trained on the doorbell, debating whether to ring it or not.

Her heart had ached as she watched Mingi and Yejin converse. It seemed he had lingering feelings for her but that wasn't supposed to be a part of the plan, he was just supposed to fool around with her and break her heart but it seemed that he was the one with the broken heart.

Sighing, she broke out of her trance and rang the doorbell, waiting patiently until she heard the click of the door unlocking. He pulled open the door, his face void of any emotion.

"What do you want?" Mingi spoke rather harshly as she scrunched her nose up in disgust.

"That's no way to treat your friend." Suji barged past him, standing in the hallway.

He muttered something inaudible under his breath, closing the door and walking past her only for her to grab his arm. He stopped walking, looked at her and sighed.

"What?"

"Why are you acting like this?" She questioned as he chuckled bitterly, glaring at her.

"Because of you." He moved closer, the distance between them becoming nonexistent. "It's all your fault. The stupid bet-"

"It's not my fault, you did all this to win me over and you've achieved your goal. I'm all yours now." She smirked, reaching out to cup his face only to be swatted away.

Mingi stepped back, staring at her in disgust. "I don't love you anymore. I love Yejin."

"You don't love Yejin!" She argued back, a lump rising in her throat. "You did this bet to help me get back at her in exchange for me being your girlfriend. Now I'm yours-"

"I don't want you. You and your stupid manipulative games." He scoffed. "You hurt others to get your own way and for a while so did I. I was blinded by my love for you but after spending time with Yejin I realised what a monster I had become... now I've lost possibly the best thing to have ever happened to me."

"You're not in love with her. Stop being stupid!" Suji shouted, unexpectedly slapping him around the face.

He clenched his teeth, turning his head slowly to face her. "Get out..." he spoke in a low deep threatening tone.

Suji stood still. "You don't love her-"

"GET OUT!" Mingi roared, frightening her as her fingers trembled nervously. Not wanting to anger him anymore, she walked away out the door, leaving him alone in his apartment.

He'd been friends with her all his life but never had he shouted at her. He felt slightly guilty but she shouldn't have pushed him... Yejin was still a very sensitive subject for him.

He stared at the door, unbeknownst to him that Suji was leaning against the other side, her eyes watering up. She sighed, standing up straight and tried to regain herself.

Pulling out her phone, she glanced down at her lock screen, a photo of her, Mingi, Seonghwa and another girl all smiling happily. She missed those times when they were truly happy.

Her eyes lingered on Seonghwa a little longer, the idea of visiting him sprung into her head. He'd comfort her, she knew he would. Suji walked away from Mingi's apartment and out to her car, setting off to Seonghwa's cafe. Making a few stops along the way because she knew he was working till late at night so she didn't want to bother him.

Once it began to get a bit darker she climbed out of her car, carrying a bag with some expensive wine hoping to surprise him however it seemed that she was the surprised one...

The closer she got she realised he was with a girl. Yejin to be exact. She gritted her teeth in annoyance, wondering why she was still hanging around where she wasn't wanted. Instead of going inside, she decided to wait outside and spy on them.

"Seonghwa?" A small voice called out, disrupting him from his work. He turned to find Yejin standing there in a pair of ripped jeans and a cute oversized jumper with some English writing sprawled across. She smiled at him nervously, wondering how he'd react after this morning.

"Yejin, what are you doing here?" He questioned.

"I came to apologise." She pursed her lips, nervously looking down at her hands. "I'm sorry for earlier on, you came and brought me breakfast but I was stupid and butted in where I shouldn't have."

"It's okay-"

"No, it's not." She shook her head. "To make up for it I'd like to buy you dinner. I don't have a lot of money so it won't be anything fancy like you're used to but still I'd like to make the effort to repay you."

"Oh." He chuckled at her cute apology, pulling off his apron, he wandered out from behind the counter and walked over to her. "Okay, I don't get off work for a while but it's empty now so I could step out until it gets busy again around 10pm."

"It gets busy that late?" She gasped as he nodded, grabbing his keys.

"Yeah, the students finish their classes and academies so they all drop by for cakes and drinks with their friends before going home." He explained, walking back over. "Shall we go?"

Yejin nodded, both exiting the shop as he locked it up.

"Where to?"

"It's a surprise." She smiled mischievously leading him away, both of them not noticing Suji standing around the corner watching them.

She pressed onto her photo album to reveal the many photos she had taken of them, smirking to herself proudly. Now she had proof of Yejin fooling around to show Mingi in hopes that he'd leave behind his feelings for Yejin and come to her instead.

"You'll be mine, Song Mingi."
