One knock. Two knock. Three knocks. Yejin groaned, dragging herself under the cover. The knocking had begun again. Sighing, she dragged away the costly bed covers and got out of the bed, making her way to the door.

She pulled open the door to be met with an unexpected visitor.

"You look bad." He scrunched up his nose.

"I feel bad." Yejin brushed her fingers through her hair, pushing it away from her face. "What are you doing here?"

"Discount bread." Seonghwa held up a brown paper bag with a pink bow tied around the handles, binding them together. The smell of the bread sent her stomach into a frenzy as it grumbled, begging to be fed. "And just in time, I see."

Yejin just moved aside and gestures for him to come inside as she was embarrassed by the inhumane noise her stomach had made.

Seonghwa entered, making his way into the kitchen. Yejin gazed across the hall at Mingi's door for a small moment before closing her own door. She threw herself down onto the sofa, closing her eyes once again.

"You better not fall asleep on me, I got up early just to make you breakfast. I even made hangover soup." Seonghwa called out, making Yejin open one eye. Her heart almost malfunctioned as she discovered Seonghwa was right in front of her. "Let's eat." He smiled and backed away.

"Why aren't you at work?" She asked, following him into the kitchen and climbing up onto a stall. "Thank you for the meal." She mumbled, splitting her chopsticks and proceeding to tuck in.

"I closed the bakery up for a while to deliver your discount bread." He answered.

"Can you stop calling it discount bread?" Yejin pouted. "I was drunk."

"I like it." He smiled once again, revealing his dimples. Yejin couldn't help but stare. Men with dimples are a weakness for her. "It's cute."

"What?" Yejin looked up at him, shock on her face along with fright. 'Can he read minds?' She thought to herself.

"I said it's cute." He chuckled. "I might change the name of the store to discount bread."

"Copyright." She glared, making him laugh. "Why are you being so nice to me anyway? Is this Suji's plan?"

"I'm not her slave." Seonghwa stopped laughing as soon as he heard her name mentioned, his mood turning sour.

"If you're in love with her, you're already a slave for her love. You'd do anything for her-"

"I should go. I need to open up the shop. Enjoy your food." Seonghwa stood up, walking away.

"Wait-" Yejin felt terrible. She knew she should have just left it alone. She heard the door close and the click after to say it was locked.

Yejin groaned, she placed her chin into the palms of her hands and stared through the window, which gave a view of her door and shoe rack beside it. "I'm a terrible person." She sighed. "I see why Mingi didn't want me."

Meanwhile... Seonghwa had just exited the apartment only to bump into Mingi, who stood outside with a look of confusion.

"Seonghwa... What are you doing inside Yejin's at this time? Don't you have to work?" Mingi questioned.

"Ah, yeah I'm heading to work now, I was just dropping some breakfast in for her." Seonghwa glanced down to see Mingi was holding a bag too. "And so were you... if I'd know-"

"It's fine. She probably wouldn't accept it." Mingi shook his head, cursing himself inside. "You want breakfast?" Mingi asked.

"I should go and open up the shop-"

"Oh yeah. It's fine." Mingi nodded.

"Bye." Seonghwa then left, leaving Mingi with a thousand questions unanswered.

Mingi stared at Yejin's door, debating mentally with himself.

Click!

Mingi's eyes widened in shock, leaving him with a spare second to run towards his door and act calm.

He pulled up the box to reveal the keypad to his house. As Yejin peaked her head around, her eyes met with Mingi's.

"Oh, good morning," Yejin mumbled nervously.

"You sound disappointed, expecting someone else?" He asked, trying to sound unbothered.

"Thanks for bringing me home yesterday. Sorry for being a bother." She apologizes before disappearing back inside her apartment. The door clicked, signalling it was locked.

"You're never a bother," Mingi mumbled as he stood alone in the corridor, his eyes still gazing at where she stood previously. Unknown to him, another pair of ears were listening in to their conversation.
