Sitting silently in the library in Nathaniel's and Stacy's house, I stare  out the window. The sky dark with the clouds beggining to turn grey. The rain heavily pounding against the glass with the striking of lighting far out from the house.

I had this bad feeling ever since I arrived with Daniel, Josh and Carter.

It has only been five hours since I got off the plane and everyone was sleeping, except for me. Daniel hasn't spoken to me and is giving me the silent treatment cause of my little stunt back at the cottage.

Esmeralda told me to go easy for a few days since my last test. I'm not going to lie, it hurt as hell.

My test consist of my fears and how I use my powers to defend myself against it. From day to day, my fears aren't always the same for when I take my test. I change fears everyday, except one...him.

He would always be there in the shadows, waiting for me. Observing me with the smirk he always wear when he would beat me. He doesn't attack, but stays rooted to his spot. At the end of my test I would try to control all the emotions that fills me and the feeling of a ton of bricks on my shoulders, I seem to always find myself pushing myself further or bleeding.

While sitting, I concentrated on the movements in the house. I could hear the heart beats of everyone, but I  mostly listen to the one that was a floor above me. His loud snores filling my ears and something in me sparks and a small grace my lips.

I knew I was being unfair to him.

I sigh and stand, going to stand at the window. The clouds covering the sky not leaving any trace if blue. The wind howl furiously outside as the tress rock in sync from side to side.

An idea came to mind and I grin while looking outside at the stormy weather.

Since no one is up and I have nothing better to do.

I unlock the latch of the French windows and I'm instantly greeted by the wind blowing the rain inside, hitting my bare face. I slip out of my flats along with my long sleeve shirt, exposing my new marks on my arm.

Looking back to the library door as if someone was to come through it any seconds now to only hear snores in return.

Only in a tank top and shorts I slip out the window and the cold invading my bare skin, sending goosebumps all over my body. Rain splatters against me, wetting my clothes and my bare feet sinking into the damp soil as I drift towards the middle of the field.

I stop a fair amount spacing me and the house altogether with the forest.

Lighting struck and the sound brought a smile to my lips and I momentarily close my eyes, welcoming the cool atmosphere and coldness.

I open my eyes feeling a rush of emotions pulsing through me at what I was going to do.

Esmeralda and Father are going to be so furious. My wolf said.

Practice is all it is. I'm not harming anyone if I practice. I reply.

Your harming yourself, us. Is all she says before leaving to go somewhere in the back of my mind.

I ignore her comment and stood straight.

The lighting grew louder, sounding closer than before and I felt shivers running up my spine. I summon my wolf forward and I reach out to everything surrounding me.
