Tales from a Split Element (Ninjago Zane X Reader One-Shots)

Context + Information

This book contains one-shots from in/around my Ninjago story "The Split Element". I will provide an overview of Y/n's story so for those of you who are new can know who she is, and what she's like.

When uploading one-shots, some will be from/around specific seasons, and I will specify in the chapters if they are. As well as this I'll try to keep specific groups of one-shots organised (for example, one-shots that take place between seasons 9 and 10 will be kept together), so if a new one is uploaded and it moves in the chapters page, then that'll be why, sorry if that's going to confuse anyone.

I will be taking one-shot requests/ideas, though I can't promise I'll do each one. If I can think of a plot for them, then I'll most likely do them, if not then they probably won't get done. Also, I tend to come up with one-shot ideas out of nowhere, and make them for specific reasons (say I made a scenario in my head or came up with a headcanon then I'll make a one-shot about it), so I apologise if they appear random at times. Some one-shots could become 2-parters, which, in case anyone likes them, there you go.

One thing I will mention is I probably won't be writing any smut/nsfw one-shots. As much as I'd love to, I'm not comfortable with them being public, and how I write them can definitely be improved. So I'm sorry to disappoint some of you but I won't be writing them.

However, some chapters may contain suggestive themes/moments so I hope that makes up for it, and can somewhat work for some of you, so do with that what you will. 

Also, I will be mainly writing Zane X Reader one-shots for a few reasons. One, this book is centered around The Split Element, in which Y/n is in a relationship with Zane. Two, I understand Zane's character, and I find it easiest to write love-based chapters around him. However, there may be a few chapters where another person may be involved (if you've read the book you can make a pretty decent guess on who that is), so there will be some interactions aside from Zane, but it will mostly be him in the one-shots.

All characters in this book are adults, and if not I will mention that. Anyway, let's get into Y/n's info:

Y/n's Elemental Power:

Y/n is the Granddaughter to the original Master of Ice. (She is in no way related to Zane, I shall explain). The original Master of Ice had a daughter (Y/n's mother), but she didn't display the elemental ability (it skipped her generation). The original Master of Ice wasn't aware of this phenomenon, and went to pass on his power to someone else, that person was Zane. By giving Zane his elemental power, the Og Master of Ice accidentally split the element. So when Y/n came around and discovered she had powers, there were two Elemental Masters of ice (hence, The Split Element).

Y/n had no contact or relation to Zane or his father growing up, and has no knowledge of him until Sons of Garmadon. They are not related.

Quick Overview of Y/n's story:

Y/n is the granddaughter of the master of ice and joined the ninja after being in the S.O.G midway through season 8.

They welcomed her in and she became part of their team after being sent to the first ream.

Y/n made it out alive, unlocking her true potential and saving Ninjago.

The darkness of the Oni came to destroy Ninjago but that wasn't a problem for Y/n and her new family, since they used the tornado of creation with the golden weapons. Kai even forged her golden fans from left-over gold after creating the four weapons again.
