Small notes:

This takes place after the merge; Y/n and Owen are on their own in Cloud Kingdom

Y/n is roughly 8 months pregnant with Robin

3rd Person POV:

Owen shuffled on the bed next to his mother, sitting close to her as she looked for an app on her phone. "Owen, you know how you're going to be having a baby brother or sister soon?" She spoke up as her son leaned against her arm. "Yeah." He responded, watching her open the notes app on her phone. "Well, they need a name. Would you like to help me pick one out?" Y/n asked him, looking down to give Owen a smile. His eyes widened, and he seemed excited. "Yes!" He exclaimed, resting his head on his mothers bump, making her chuckle.

But then Owen stopped, and looked up at Y/n again. "Wait, do you know if I'm getting a baby brother or sister yet?" He asked, thinking that would help them pick out a name. Y/n sadly shook her head. "No, I don't yet. But, we will when they're born, which won't be long now." She explained to him, reaching over to grab a small empty scroll on her bedside table.

Y/n opened the scroll, and took a pen from the table. "Now, before you were born, your dad and I made a big list of names for you." She said as she wrote the names from her phone to the scroll so they were easier for Owen to see. "I would like to pick a name from this list, since these were all names your dad liked." "Are there only boy names?" Owen asked, looking at the names Y/n was writing down. "Nope. There are some girl names too. We made this list before we knew you were a boy." She told him, finishing writing the last name.

There weren't many names, but there were enough that the two of them could make decisions. Owen was confused. "If we don't know if I'm getting a baby brother or sister, how do we pick a name?" He wondered, making a frowny face as he knelt with his elbows against the bed. Y/n smiled. "We can pick a girl name, and a boy name. Then when your baby brother or sister gets here, then that's the name we'll give them." "Oh, okay." Owen responded, his frown disappearing as he looked over the list.

A few minutes passed with Owen staring at the names on the list. "Are there any names you like?" Y/n asked him, making him think. "Hmm...I like that one." He said, pointing to the name 'Jax'. Y/n thought about it, and also considered the name. "Okay, if it's a boy we could go with that. Are there any other names?" She went on, seeing any others her son liked the look of. "I like that one too." Owen went on, pointing to 'North' which made Y/n smile. "That's a good girl one." She spoke, putting her hand on her son's back.

Y/n made a note of both names on her phone, making sure she remembered them for when her second baby was born. But while she did that, Owen spotted another name. "Mom?" He spoke up, looking back at her as she looked down at him. "Yes, sweetheart?" "Can...can I pick a third name?" He asked, and Y/n tilted her head, thinking. It would make it a little harder to pick a name if there was another, but she couldn't say no to him. She gave her son a smile. "Of course. Which one?" Y/n wondered, looking over the list as Owen pointed at one.

"I like this one." He said, pointing to the name 'Robin'. "That's the small bird with the red belly, isn't it?" Owen asked, making his mother smile and nod. "It is." She told him. "It's also a girl and a boy's name." "It is?" His eyes widened, not knowing. "Yeah, it is." His mother replied, thinking again.

Y/n tried to think about what Zane had thought of the name when he brought it up, and she remembered he liked it. That was enough to consider this be her baby's name, but she checked with their big brother first. "Since it works for a girl and a boy, do you think we should stick with this name?" She asked the small boy as he looked up at her. He thought for a moment, but soon happily nodded. "Yes!" He exclaimed, looking down at his moms tummy.

Owen shuffled closer, and gently put his hands on it. "Your name will now be Robin." He spoke in an authoritative way, making his mom chuckle. The little boy smiled and leaned against his mom's belly again, listening to his baby sibling as Y/n rested her hand on his head.

Owen's smile gradually faded though, and he lifted his head. Y/n quickly noticed he seemed upset, and her instincts kicked in. "Honey, what's wrong?" She asked him, gently pulling him in for a hug, holding him close. Owen sniffled. "Do you think dad will like them?" He asked, his eyes watering at the thought of his dad. "Yes, of course he will. It was a name he loved." Y/n told him, rubbing Owen's arm.

"No, I mean...will he like my baby brother or sister." He said, correcting his mom's words. "He...he isn't here..." Tears fell from Owen's eyes, missing his dad. "Oh, Owen..." Y/n softly spoke, gently cradling him as he quietly cried in her arms. "You're dad's going to love them, just as much as he loves you." She told him as he buried his head in her shirt. "W-will we ever see him again?" Owen cried, his voice small and trembling.

Y/n tried not to cry herself; she missed Zane more than anything, and it was hard without him. Owen needed his dad, but Y/n didn't know where he was, and she couldn't locate him. She quietly took a breath, trying not to cry for her son's sake. "Of course we will." She told him, pulling away to meet Owen's watery eyes. She wiped away his tears, giving him a sad smile. "I will do everything I can to find him, okay? I promise." She spoke as Owen leaned into her arms again, putting his face in the crook of her neck.

Y/n sighed, fighting back tears as she knelt back, getting comfortable. She held her son close, trying her best to comfort him.
