3rd Person POV:
On one faithful day, Kai had been asked to sort through and organise Wu's tea collection. He really didn't want to, but didn't put up a fight as he was already on Wu's bad side for the day.
As the master of fire was sorting through a few jars, he found a hidden compartment in the wall. "Huh?" He ran his hand along the edge, and it popped open. "What are you hiding from us now, Master?" He mumbled, opening the compartment.
It was difficult to see, so Kai reached his hand in, and created a small flame on the tip of his finger. Inside the compartment were tea jars, with strange names. But one caught his attention the most.
A tea with a scratched label which said; Form Tea.
Curious, Kai grabbed it, and pulled it out to have a closer look. The few leaves that were there were dried, and had a musty blue-green tone to them. Kai turned the jar around to find a label on the back with a sort of guide.
The Ninja tried his best to read it, but all he could make out was that two people had to drink the tea in order for it to work, and that its effects lasted one...something. One hour? One day? One week? One month? Depending on...something.
Kai couldn't figure it out. But he was in a mood that day, a mood which told him someone had to drink this tea.
So, after finishing up Wu's tea, Kai managed to make a single cup of Form Tea from the remaining leaves to give to two of his siblings. His first target was Y/n. She was getting on Kai's nerves lately; beating him in everything he challenged her at.
So she was his first target.
Kai walked out to the games room, and found Y/n lying over Zane's lap on the couch, playing Prime Empire with him. "Hey, Y/n." Kai spoke up, walking over. "Oh hey, Kai. Wallowing in your sorrows I see?" She smiled, remembering how she beat him earlier.
"What?! No! Bshh." He lied before letting out a very quiet and agitated sigh. He had to make this believable. "I just thought, that, you deserve some tea after...ugh." Kai rolled his eyes before grumbling. "...beating me earlier." "What was that?" Y/n asked, smirking while sitting up as Zane paused their game. "I thought you deserved some tea after beating me earlier." Kai blurted out, putting the tea on the table.
"Ah, how kind of you." Y/n reached for the tea, but suddenly Zane picked it up first. "Kai, you are not usually like this." He told him, sceptical he was up to something. "Is change not a good thing, Zane?" Kai asked him, which was something he couldn't argue with. But, he still held his suspicions.
To prevent Y/n from potentially being harmed, Zane lifted up the teacup to try some. "Whoa! What are you doing?!" Kai suddenly shouted, making Zane and Y/n eye him. "Uh, what's wrong with him trying some?" Y/n asked, which Kai struggled to find an answer to. "Judging by your reaction, it seems like somethings up." She raised an eyebrow at him.
Kai started to sweat now, and tried his best to play it cool to avoid suspicion. "Nothings up! What do you take me for?!" He nervously laughed, but Y/n just shook her head. "I'm only playing." She told him before turning to Zane.
"But, are you okay? You're not usually like this" Y/n asked him. "One, you don't need to drink, and two, Kai made that for me." She explained, but he knew.
"I am aware, but I sense something is not right here, and I would like to be sure this tea is suitable for you to drink." Zane replied before looking at Kai. "Which it should be. Right, Kai?" The Red Ninja kept sweating; Zane was onto him, so he had to lie again. "Uh, yeah. It's just Wu's regular herbal tea."
Zane lightly nodded before drinking a few sips of the tea, and after, waited a few seconds to make sure it was safe. During that time, Kai was terrified; he hoped the tea effects couldn't affect Zane since he was a Nindroid, but who was to say anymore.
