Teenage mutant ninja- DUCKS!?

Aprils humble home, wait shes not an adult?!

April woke up on a beautiful Saturday morning, yawning and coming out of her room, going to her bathroom and brushing her teeth and washing her face. She then put on her glasses, and did her hair. She went into the kitchen and started making breakfast when she peeked a look at the ducks that came into her life yesterday.

They were still sleeping soundly, hopefully the smell of bacon and pancakes will wake them up, she made Pancakes enough for everyone. and bacon for everyone. She loved making bacon it tasted so good, she made 5 plates and food and water for Mayhem in his bowls. She started eating when Huey woke up first, he yawned and stretched and then winced in pain.

"Good morning Ms. April..!" Huey greeted, "Good morning,Just call me April.. and you are..? I didn't learn your name." April said, "My name is Huey, April-"
"your breakfast for you and your friends is on the counter. Help yourself." April ate some more of her pancakes, Hueys stomach grumbled and got off of the couch, while tucking his brothers and Webby back in, and limped to the counter.

"They're actually my family but— Thank you April.." Huey grabbed a plate and sat with her while they watched tv.
"No problem Huey." April replied, they ate while watching the news,
"Hey, Huey, quick question.. you don't seem like you're from here. Where are you from?" April asked,
"We're from Duckburg, but everyone here isn't animals so.. I think we're from a different universe." Huey continued to eat.

"Do you have any way to get home?" April asked,
"we— I.. don't know. We just woke up here, well, there, from the 'Battle Nexus' it was so scary.." Huey shivered and teared up.
"Hey, you're not gonna go back there, I'm gonna make sure of it, and then I'm— well.. with some help I'm gonna get you home." April said proudly,
"Thank you April, you're very nice." Huey chewed on some bacon.

"You're welcome. Aw man, it's gonna rain today?" April smiled, then groaned looking at the Weather forecast.
"Rain kind of smells good though if you think about it." Huey said, "Even though I'm never allowed to go out while it's raining. It's nice to open the window and smell it." April stared at Huey, she never thought of it that way,
"I was always too annoyed by the rain to smell it." April began.

"I always was just real mad that I couldn't go out and have fun without getting splashed or, even slipping on a tiny puddle." She chuckled, "and then the day after would be super cold so there'd be ice everywhere. But.. at least I could still play in the snow with the boys."
"The boys?" Huey asked,
"Oh yeah, I didn't call them today to come check you guys out!" April pulled up a photo of them. "That's Raph, Leo, Donnie, Mikey, and their dad Splints!" April pointed to each one.

"Splints is usually in the lair all day but. Eh he's still cool." April said,

"Wow.. they look really cool! They remind me of my brothers and Webby!" Huey beamed, he stimmed a little looking at Raph cause he had his favorite color. Louie hissed in pain behind them, moving his arm in a way,
"Oh! Don't move sweetie." April put her plate down and went over to assist him. "Here, I made a plate for every one of you." She showed him,
"Thank you April." Louie smiled at her.

She propped him up so he could eat comfortably, soon Webby woke up and limped to sit down with them on the floor and eat, April got Webby her plate, they introduced themselves, and they all sat down watching the crazy news of New York, and then some cartoons when it got boring.

After an hour Dewey got up with gasp, he had a nightmare, he panted looking in-front of him and seeing Mayhem on his lap, Mayhem Licked him, revealing he was friendly.
