Catching Feelings

👾Luz's P.O.V👾

I walked to school by myself with a bounce in my step, excited to see my friends.

I finally made it, after what felt like forever.

I looked up at the building.

"Oh, Saint James. I guess you're only partially hell!" I exclaimed, making my way inside.

The first two periods went by awfully slower than the previous day. Maybe because I'm dying to see Sasha, Anne, and king- er I mean Marcy!

The lunch bell rang and I jumped out of my seat to race to the cafeteria.

I took a seat with yet another slice of pizza. I looked around to make sure there weren't anymore racist red-heads trying to shame me of what I'm eating.

Luckily, the coast was clear and even more luckily, I spotted Anne and Sasha. I waved them over and they smiled at me.

They sat next to me.

"What's up, Luz!" Sasha said. "Maggie didn't bother you today, did she?"

I quickly shook my head.

"By the way, have you seen Marcy?" I asked.

"Oh! You've met Marcy! No, we haven't seen her." Anne said.

"Oh wait, she's right there!" Sasha pointed to a familiar raven-haired girl.

She was occupied on her switch as she passed by the table that Maggie was sitting on.

Maggie snickered and stuck out her leg for Marcy to obliviously trip on.

"NO!" I shouted as I ran towards Marcy.

Marcy fell forward over Maggie's leg, her switch slipped out of her hands.

And she landed on my chest...

Her arms were around my shoulders for support while mine were wrapped around her waist.

The both of us started blushing madly as Maggie bursted into laughter.

Sasha saw the whole thing and raced to the scene.

"You guys okay?!" She asked. She turned to Maggie. "MAGGIE!!"

Maggie stopped laughing and she choked as Sasha grabbed her by the collar.

Sasha held up a fist to try an punch her but Anne came out of nowhere and pulled her back.

☘️Marcy's P.O.V.☘️

So I was clinging onto Luz, probably looking like a love-struck idiot while Sasha was threatening homicide to Maggie.

A typical day at Saint James...

Luz had let go of me. Which made me sort of sad. Her hands were so soft...

"I-I am so sorry!" She apologized quickly.

"O-oh it's no problem!" I stuttered. "T-thanks for catching me!"

Maggie had ran away and Anne sighed.

"Why am I in love with you again?" Anne muttered at Sasha, irritatedly.

"Cause I'm the best!" Sasha stated proudly.

Anne turned to us.

"You guys weren't hurt, right?" She asked.

We both shook our head.

The school bell rang and it was time to go back to class.

"Stay out of trouble, you two!" Sasha called out before walking away.

"See ya later!" Anne added.

The two left and it was just me and Luz standing in an empty cafeteria.

"Uh I-i guess I'll see you at the gamers' club?" I asked, nervously.

"Oh yeah! Of course!" She smiled. She was so pretty...

Wait what?!

"Ok! See you there!" I walked away, smiling like an idiot.

This cannot be happening... I'm not the lover type!!

Maybe it's just a phase! I'll grow out of it...

Eventually....
