The Orphanage

Just Another Night

------Paige's POV----
"Ash... What are we doing?" I ask while shivering in my jacket.
"You'll see."
The only time we've been out of the orphanage since we got here was on a field trip a good 7 years ago to the aquarium down town. Were defiantly not allowed to be in the forest, especially after dark.
"Ash we could get in big trouble for this."
"I know I know now shut your trap and follow me."
He grabs my hand and I follow him into the thick forest.
...
"Ash!" I stop after walking for about 45 minutes of stumbling over logs and twigs.
"Either you tell me what were doing or I'm going back!" I turn to leave when he grabs my hand again and pulls me toward him. Our faces are inches apart and he smiles.
He smiles That beautiful smile.
"Just 5 more minutes ok?"
His warm breath tickles my nose.
"Fine but only 5 minutes. Then I'm going.
how did you even learn about this place?"
"Paige this isn't the first time I've been out here, it's just another night."
"You come out here a lot??? Why didn't you tell me!!! Is it every night? For how long?"
"Paige it doesn't matter now will you please just follow me."
...
After what seems likes hours we finally arrive in a little clearing.
"This is Dead Mans Cave the place I've been going to for weeks."
He then points to a cave on the other did of the clearing and begins walking towards it.
"Ash I don't know about this."
"Oh com on you big baby, let's go."
He grabs his backpack and takes out two little headlamps.
"One for me and one for you."
He put the headlamp on my head as he walks into the dark cave.
