The room I was led to wasn't empty. In fact, despite it being majority black, I could see the dresser holding items, and the alive flower, and a pair of shoes at one side of the bed on the floor.

"Mother insisted we share the room." He said awkwardly. "I... hope that's okay with you...?"

My throat was dry, "Your room?" Regulus nodded.

"Your belongings have been brought up," He started, motioning to the end of the bed where trunks sat. "Feel free to put them away - the wardrobe through the far door is empty on one side."

I nodded, subconsciously moving to unpack. Regulus turned, walking towards the bedroom door. Then he suddenly stopped. I thought he was going to say something meaningful.

"Dinner should be ready within the hour."

He left. So much for meaningful.

The corridors of the manor were, surprisingly, warm. Black was a common colour, yet as I walked in and out rooms I found that brighter colours were also visible. There were no moving pictures of ancestors, no creepy objects lying around, nothing out of the ordinary. I seemed like a normal place. Not like where a Death Eater would live.

Everything I had thought was turning out to be incorrect. And I hated it more than I cared to admit.

As I once again walked into another room, I found that it was already occupied. It was most definitely a study, yet part of it housed bookcases full to the brim. My the large window I found Regulus standing, staring outside. Not sure if he'd heard me, or was wanting solace, I went to close the door and leave.

"Stay." I stopped moving. Apparently he knew I was here.

"Are you sure?"

He turned to face me, "Yes. Why... why do you seem reluctant to be in my company now? During the reception you seemed willing enough."

I felt caught. "I guess I'm simply adjusting. Its not everyday you get married." I looked anywhere but a Regulus. When I looked up, I saw him about to speak, but a knock at the door stopped him. A house elf peeped through.

"Master Regulus, dinner is ready."

The elf disappeared and Regulus sighed, walking out of the room. Gathering my nerves, I followed after him, closing the door to the study.

After eating in silence, siting across from widthways so we were near each other at the long wooden table, I found myself getting ready for bed. Humiliatingly, I had forgotten I was still wearing my wedding gown, and couldn't wait to wear something that covered my skin more.

Standing in the bathroom, I removed the snake pins from my hair, took off my high heels, and reached back to undo my dress. It was incredibly difficult to put it simply. Huffing, I realized that I had no option but to ask Regulus for help. That or rip the dress - which, would in turn make my mother very angry at me.

Reluctantly, I walked out. Regulus was taking off his tie, left in only pants and the black top - both part of the tux he was wearing for the wedding. Part of me wanted to let him keep going... Shaking myself out of it as it was inappropriate,  I took a deep breath.

"Um, Regulus?" He hummed, putting the tie down and facing me, "Do you mind... Can you please undo my dress?" He stood still, so I quickly continued, "The buttons are really small, and I don't even know where the zip is so..." I trailed off, biting my lip as my cheeks coloured.

"Sure. I mean, of course." He walked towards me. I swear my heart was trying to escape my body. The top he wore did nothing but display his toned and slim figure, the pants too tight. I turned around, moving my hair to the side.
