Opening the letter, my heart skipped a beat. They wanted me.

St Mungos was offering me a position as a healer. I would train under a healer, gaining that title after sufficient practice. It listed healers available and offering to train me; all I had to do was accept the offer. How did they find out that I wanted a job there...?

Regulus...

I looked up at him, finding his gaze already on me, "Did you...?"

"I did." He nodded, "You shouldn't have to give up your dream just because you married me. I wasn't sure you'd enquire about a traineeship, even with my saying so in the conversation after the... wedding." I was absolutely breathless.

"I didn't mean to overstep..." He continued when I didn't respond.

"Thank you Regulus." I entwined my fingers through his, his hand resting on the table.

"But, are you-" He cut me off.

"Rose!" He chuckled, "I don't give a fuck about my reputation. It's been through worse, and will continue to last. This is your chance. Your chance to help people. You deserve to be happy. I won't keep you locked up in this house, and I certainly won't let you just give up on your dreams or happiness."

I was touched by his words, my eyes becoming misty. Our eyes locked, his free hand slowly reaching up and cupping my cheek. His thumb rubbed gently against my skin. His breath fanned over my face. My eyelids fluttered shut as his face neared. Our lips touched, feeling like a feather. With a burst of confidence, I closed the remaining gap. His lips were soft, making me melt as they moved slowly against my own.

Slowly standing, without separating from our kiss, I moved over to him. His hands grasped my waist, like I would disappear any second. He guided me onto his lap, my legs on either side of his. My fingers ran through his soft black hair, moaning quietly as he kissed me harder. My lungs started burning. Reluctantly pulling back, I kissed down his jaw to his neck.

"If this is how you thank me, you'll be getting a lot more gifts." He groaned. I smiled against his skin, laughing quietly.

His hands trailed up my sides and back, pushing our bodies together. When I pulled back to catch my breath, his lips attacked my neck. My head lolled to the side as he kissed, sucked, and lightly nipped the delicate skin. My breathing was becoming heavier by the second.

Suddenly, a knock echoed through the room. He growled, pulling back. Grasp tightening on my hips, he helped me up, before standing too. An arm wrapped around my waist as we started walking to the open door of the dining room entrance.

"Bloody visitors." He cursed.

I smiled, "We can continue later."

As we neared the door, he pushed me against the wall with a smirk, "Is that a promise?"

"Absolutely."

His lips met mine with enough force to knock my head back. My hands rested on his chest, grasping his shirt tightly. Another knock was heard. I groaned, pulling back. Just as annoyed as I was, he led me out of the dining room. I stood back, near the steps, as he moved to the door, directing a house elf to open it.

"Regulus." A lanky man greeted my husband. His hair was a dark, sandy blond, his tongue sliding over his lips as he stepped inside.

"Barty. Sorry for the delay, my wife and I were preoccupied."

He looked over at me, smirking when he saw my neck, "I can see that."

Blushing, a brought a hand to my neck. He walked over to me.

"Barty Crouch." He pressed a light kiss to my hand, "And you must be the new Mrs Black."

I smiled, "Pleasure to officially meet you."

Regulus kissed my cheek lightly, "Barty and I have businuess to now."

Nodding, I pecked his cheek lightly, "I'll see you later. Wonderful meeting you, Barty."

As I walked up the stairs I heard Regulus's words.

"Really, mate?! You had to come over now?!"
