It felt light

Heart was pounding, throbbing.

The wooden floor felt agonising to look at. Innocent chatter sounding a lot more louder and distracting than usual. Everything blended and your head spun.

You felt sick.

Why did Ninjago sound so familiar?

The star above burned bright in all it's glory.

Coolness from the shade provided protection against the burning heat, oak and it's stretched brown wands tower over a thousand times over you.

Your fingers clenched at the canister's cap, reminding yourself that water is limited for now. Two weeks rolled easily and you've started to get the gist on how to not starve and die pathetically alone.

It was noon. Lunch was expected from your stomach. But something tells you it might have to wait longer than 5 minutes.

Life as a nomad was not all that bad. Sure, some prefer to be called travelers or wanderers. Meanwhile, you simply liked the word 'nomad' on its own. It sounded pretty funny.

Occasionally you'd stumble across pearly beaches, making a deal with the local fish monger and catching a free meal or two. Some were kind enough to let you cook your dinner with their stove. "It's the least for ye, lass. Livin' all solo like ye gots to be tough!" How considerate.

Today your lack of sense of direction had led you to the cooler regions of Ninjago.

...Ninjago. It rolled off your tongue comfortably. You felt something so familiar about it. Yet, years had passed and you never got to satisfy that odd feeling.

Soft wailing called out to you. Your head turned as light stingray-like wings came into view. "Hey," your mouth curved up, "I don't suppose you know which way has a village nearby?"

With a flap and dive, it glided away, too fast for your liking. "Whoa- Plink oy! You know I barely have any energy left, c'mon!" It only chimed lightly as if it giggled about your predicament.

"Not funny! Bad! Bad!"

So begins your jog.

It was quick, when you tripped and fell. Headfirst into the ground.

Man

You rolled, sitting momentarily as you registered the fall again. Then, you resume back to trudging up the forest with it's flowing hills.

Damn, if I ever get attacked I'd break the world's record for losing over a robber-

"Ow!"

The culprit swiftly flew away. It's supposedly twin hover your shoulder, a soft little touch that barely felt like it. You felt like it was telling you something.

Don't say that. You know that's not true. It said, starlight glow leaving in it's wake.

Or, you were only reassuring yourself through them. Who knows. Not being able to see them by anyone else sometimes drives you up the wall.

Your thoughts bounced around as you spotted the foot of a mountain. Where the pine trees ended as they lead you a clearing. Where the world above wasn't blocked by branches and shadows.

You were lucky, the footwear you stole before running away were great for hiking as well.

After snacking on the remaining leftovers in your bag, you made your way up.
