Heaven, Paradise

If peace was a thing it would be heaven.

There was no worrying about anything, no sorrows, no tears of sadness, just pure joy, peace, community and worship.

Something Adrianne found to be a breath of fresh air rather than human reality. However, she found herself missing her family, her babies…Aubrey. Though to anyone Aubrey would be to blame for all of it Adrianne didn't blame him at all.

How could you blame or be upset with someone that you love so deeply?

"Sweetheart, I think it's time for you to go back. Your family, they miss you. Aubrey his heart is broken because you're not there by his side" Looking down at her family she could see how distraught everyone was.

Her father, her sister and brother were a mess. Troy wanted to cut Sophie's head off for what she did to Adrianne. Out of respect for Adonis he refrained from doing so.

Aubrey was still in shock, he didn't know that Sophie could be so vile as to take away the love of his life from him.

Adrianne knew that had to happen so everyone would open their eyes as to the kind of messed up person Sophie really was.

Being in paradise with her mother, someone whom she'd missed dearly was so relaxing she thanked God for that opportunity to see her again.

Adrianne didn't really know if she should return. She loved her family dearly but getting to see her mother again cancelled out every bit of sadness she had stored away secretly in her heart even before she met Aubrey.

Over the years Marissa had watched her daughter go through the dreadful agony of mourning her death. She tried to be there for her even in the afterlife as much as she was allowed.

She was over the moon when Adrianne met Aubrey that night at the restaurant. The way her daughter showed her love for him unconditionally without even meeting him was pure. She knew it was real and despite the ups and downs they have had being together as a couple they managed to overcome them.

Recent events however, have placed some doubts in her daughter's head, she could feel it.

"Mom, can't I have just a little more time?" Adrianne turned to her mother asking. Marissa could hear the desperation in her daughter's voice which only pained her because she had to tell her no.

She looked so angelic in her white gown with light that illuminated all around it.

"I'm afraid not sweetheart. It's time for you to go back, it's not your time yet. Your family needs you mija" Tears glimmered in her eyes as she looked up at her mother.

"Por favor Mami!" Marissa felt tears brim her eyes hearing her child's pleas.

Moving in closer to her daughter she gently grabbed ahold of her face. "Nos volveremos a encontrar pronto bebe, pero por ahora aún tienes propósitos inconclusos en la tierra por completar" Adrianne leaned further into her mother 's hand and shut her eyes.

"Once God is satisfied with what you've done on earth then you will return. Trust mija we will be together again, we all will be. Now I want you to wake up and be with your family again, hmm?" Adrianne nodded and just as if it was a dream she felt herself drift off into a deep sleep.

Marissa watched as her daughter floated off calling out to her in whispers which broke her heart. She wanted nothing more than to be with her family again but all things in due time.

"She will be fine Marissa, don't worry. I will make sure of it." Adrianne's assigned angel since birth voiced Marissa making her lips flatline into a soft smile.
