Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles

"Okay Mrs Smith you are free to be discharged today. Although, you will have to take it easy for the next couple months until you are fully healed" The doctor wrote something down onto her clipboard and then tucked his pen into the top pocket of her lab coat.

"Thank you doctor," Said Adrianne with a sincere smile on her face.

She was thankful for the doctor that was assigned to her case because she and her team did everything possible to save her life.

God covered the doctors and her team in that operating room so that the surgery would be successful and it was all because of God almighty.

"Thank you as well doctor. I can't thank you enough for saving my fiancé" Aubrey was a bit gruff with the doctor in the beginning because of all the emotions he was feeling in that moment and Doctor Richardson knew that.

Kenya sat beside her sister on the bed, Sandi on one of the chairs and Troy stood beside his sister's bed. Marissa stood in spirit right beside her daughter, listening as well.

"No worries Mr. Graham, no hard feelings at all. I've scheduled her for therapy and post-checkups for the next few months as well as i've prescribed her some medication for the pain" Aubrey simply gave her a head nod and shook hands with the doctor.

"And…you do need to sign some paperwork for her release" Doctor Richardson spoke again.

"Okay I will" With that being said the doctor exited the room leaving the family together.

"Thank you god" Whispered Marissa, looking on. She thanked her lord and savior quietly before disappearing.

"I'm telling you if I see that bitch again i'm gone finish the jo-" Arrianne squinted her eyes at her sister before opening them a bit.

"Kenya, what do you do!?" Adrianne questioned, afraid of her sister's response.

"I mopped the ground with her weak ass, that's what I did!" Kenya shrugged and Troy chuckled.

Aubrey had stepped out to sign the documents but just so happened to overhear their conversation upon returning to the room .

Adrianne was the first to catch sight of him making everyone turn around to face him.

"So you just disobeyed my wishes to handle this myself? Kenya please tell me that Sophie is alive!?" It was visible that Aubrey was angry and it caused pain to a part of Adrianne's heart but she didn't allow it to show.

"Disobeyed? After that bitch shot my sister we came to an agreement yes, but when I saw the damage all that kumbaya shit was out the window!" Kenya looked at Aubrey as if he had multiple heads.

"Alright babe maybe you should-" Chubbs walked up to her trying to diffuse the ticking time bomb that was his girl.

"What? Were you going to fix it yourself? Hmm!?" Kenya's voice could be heard through the halls of the floor they were on.

"I was-" He began but was immediately cut off by Kenya.

"And you have the audacity to say that you were? You call this you handle it Aubrey because if this is you handling it I wouldn't want to see you not!?"

"Somebody had to put her in her place because if she as much as looks at my sister the wrong way again I won't hesitate to shoot her in the head and nigga you bet i'll get away with the murder too!" Everyone was shocked but they knew the severity of the situation really angered Kenya and Troy.

"I almost lost one of the most important things in my life. This family wouldn't know what to do without Adrianne, hell I would die right along with her!" The tears in her eyes soften the ones of her onlookers.

"Kenya that's enough okay. It's in the past now, leave it alone please!" Looking at her sister Kenya she sucked her teeth and folded her arms.

Adrianne was hurt about it all. Who wouldn't be? But she had the spirit of forgiveness in her heart and that was enough for her to look past what Sophie had done to her.

"Can you guys leave us alone for a minute? I need to talk to Aubrey…alone" the emphasis she placed on her last word gave everyone the hint to leave.

Once everyone did so the room was quiet. The silence spoke volumes. He didn't know what to say to her so he began with his apologies upon nearing closer to her.

"Adrianne i-i'm so sorry baby for the way things happened. I let Sophie come between us again and this time it almost cost me one of the most important thing in my life" Like Kenya Adrianne apart from his mother and daughter was the most important woman in his life.

Sophie held importance only because of Adonis and that was it. Adrianne came first because he loved her more than anything.

The commitment he had to her was more than he gave Rihanna and that spoke alot.

"Aubrey you don't have to-" He stopped her.

"I do. When I proposed to you it wasn't just because it was the right thing to do. It was because of the love I felt for you and believe me when I say I don't care about Sophie. I care about you and our family" The way his eyes stared into hers could make a blind man see just how much love was between the two individuals.

Taking her hands into his they interlocked fingers. "When you get better we're going to get married and we're going to be happy. I got a restraining order out on Sophie and I sought sole custody after this stunt she pulled. I don't want Adonis with her full time" Adrianne was shocked to hear the length Aubrey went too just to keep their love protected this time.

There was no doubt Sophie was an unstable one; it just took the incident to reveal what was already there.

Leaning down closer towards her he captured her lips into his.

They kissed hungrily, yet slowly. It was full of passion, they missed each other dearly.

"I missed you so much Aubrey" The emotion in her eyes made him kiss her again.

"I missed you more" Their lips connected once more.

"So much" They finally had eachother again.
________
