Sophie found herself in a depressed state. She'd been repeating the same cycle for weeks.

Upon spending her new years in France she was summoned to appear in court for the attempted murder of Adrianne.

She'd just gotten back for a court appearance that had totally drained her. She blamed Adrianne for this. Life was great before she came along, but she was more upset with Aubrey mainly because he let this happen.

It was almost as if she had split personalities because one minute she was feeling remorseful about what she had done, and the next, she didn't care at all!

Once she'd gotten settled after the day she'd had, she rolled one up and made herself some coffee. She made her way over to her living room, turned on the TV, and got comfortable. For the first time in her life, she was truly coming to terms with losing the man she thought she would have in her life forever.

"I still say that you should fight for him." The bad angel suddenly appeared on her left shoulder, saying, filing her nails.

"Noooooo! How can you say that knowing that she may be going to jail over what YOU influenced her to do!" The good angel appeared next, and she was angry with her associate.

"Okay, but we both know Aubrey wouldn't let that happen. Even though he's said that he won't for the sake of Adonis and that's your ticket, Sophie. Use your son to get through to him!" It was almost as if a lightbulb went off in her head.

"No -" The good angel's screams filled Sophie's ears as she herself watched the Angel fall and vanish into thin air.

"Bye goodie, two shoes!" The bad angel pushed the good one off Sophie's right shoulder. Smirking, she dusted her hands and walked over to Sophie's ear, whispering words that would influence her next move.

If only Sophie had listened to her Good Angel. She wouldn't have been in this mess.

Only God himself could save Sophie now. Sophie got up, grabbed her keys, and left her house.

(The Next Day)

The bell rang continuously, which irritated Kenya, who was making her way down to go answer it.

Aubrey and his crew were out on business, which left Kenya and Adrianne home alone with the kids. Adrianne wasn't fully healed yet and still needed help doing her necessary day to day activities. Adrianne was helping Adonis with some homework upstairs in her and his father's bedroom while Promise was fast asleep in her bassinet.

The day was smoothing over nicely so far, but as Kenya opened the door, it got rough real quick.

"Now I know my sister got a restraining order out on yo ass! So what are you doing here?" Kenya asked surprisingly she kept a calm tone.

Sophie smiled sadistically, "I'm here to see my son. Not that that's any of your business. "

"Aubrey nor Adrianne informed me that you were coming to see Adonis, and unless they tell me that, then I'm sorry you can't see him nor can you step foot in this house. Have a good day!" Kenya began to close the door but was stopped by Sophie's hand.

Suddenly, it was as if her personality switched, and the remorseful side of her started peaking through a little bit.

"Look, Kenya, I am truly sorry for hurting your sister. I get that you are angry with me, and you have every right to be -" Kenya chuckled at Sophie.

"Bitch you damn right! What the fuck do you think this is huh Sophie? What makes you think that you could come here and give me that sorry ass apology?!" Kenya's voice boomed through the entire house.

Adrianne heard the yelling all the way upstairs in her room. She checked on Promise who was still sleeping soundly and then told Adonis to continue with his work while she went to get snacks.

She made her way downstairs and froze for a moment when she saw Kenya and Sophie arguing with each other.

"Look Kenya, I just want to see my son! That's it!" Kenya looked at Sophie with her "bitch really" face.

"Yeah and I wish my sister had never been shot!" Like clockwork Sophie's bad angel was working overtime to make sure that she kept her where she wanted her.

A switch in her personality was made again, " Bitch-" Adrianne saw fit to intervene at that point.

"Enough Sophie!" Sophie directed her eyes at the woman she hated most in the world. She felt her entire body filling with rage towards her.

"I'll let Aubrey know that you want to see Adonis and maybe the both of you can arrange something but for now I need you to leave my house Sophie" Rolling her eyes she turned her back and left. Kenya shut the door and she made her way to the kitchen along with her sister.

"What are we going to do about this girl? She just violated a whole restraining order!" Adrianne sighed.

"I know and I'm definitely going to let my lawyer know about that" Adrianne sipped some water.

Adrianne knew that it wasn't over yet but Sophie no longer scared her. She felt sorry that Adonis had a mother like he did. Sophie was so focused on destroying her relationship with Aubrey and Adrianne that she didn't realize that she was destroying the relationship between her and her son.

It wasn't that she didn't love Adonis, it's that in her mind she could love him more if she and Aubrey were together. Any shrink could see that Sophie was suffering from multiple dissociative disorders and she was way past the delusional state amongst other things.

Adrianne could only pray that she got the help that she needed and it wasn't too late for her, for her son's sake.
