I didn't know how to feel. I kinda knew I was falling for him, but I didn't want to fall to madly in love with him, after all he had just broken up with this girlfriend and he might not even like me back.
"Welcome to detention" I turned round to see Brooklyn standing there behind me. He walked in front of me and sat down next to Lauren and left me a seat next to a girl called Jess. Jess was very pretty, quite tanned with big brown eyes and had short brown hair, I could tell why Brooklyn liked her, not in that way, she was his best friend. Jess wasn't too keen on a girl called Lilia though, I could tell why, she seemed horrible. I liked Jess, and Jess liked me, or so Brooklyn said. I'd say, besides Brooklyn, she was my best friend.
I walked over sitting in between them, Lauren just glared at me. Mrs Aderly came in and told us what we had to do and left.
I did all the work first, followed by Jess, we just talked then. We arranged to have a sleepover and invited Brooklyn. "How nice" Lauren said, holding back a laugh "am I invited?"
"No" snapped Brooklyn
"Aww shame" she just smirked
"We would invite you, but we done like you" I loved Jess. She was very straight up, if she thought something she would say it, I liked that about her.
Lauren got up and stormed off as soon as detention was over. "Was it sometching I said?" Said Jess, we all just laughed. We walked out the room and arranged to meet at the Beckham house at 6. "I'll walk you" said Brooklyn
"Nah, it's okay" I replied
"Yeah, it wasn't really a question"
He ended up walking me home. I ran upstairs and packed my bag. I had a shower, did my hair, makeup and got dressed into my traccie. I ran downstairs and checked the time 5.45, I quickly wrote my mum and dad a note and just as I was about to leave he phone went. "Hello?"
"Sophia?"
"Yeah, who's this?"
"I'm Pc Dan, we have some news for you, can we come round?"
"Yeah sure, I was just leaving though"
"We could do it over the phone if you like, but you may want to sit down, and it's bad news"
